National Coffee Day Blog Hop with Newton's Nook Designs

Happy National Coffee Day!

Here is what I created:

I really love how this card came out! I was feeling the fall vibes, can you tell?
I used the little leaf images from Newton's Cornucopia stamp set, along with the leaves from Fall-ing For You! they're a perfect combination!

All of images were colored with Zig Clean Clear Real Brush Markers and then fussy cut out!

...it took some time...ha!

I arranged the leaves in a circle/wreath pattern, and then also accentuated the fussy cut leaves with white embossing paste and the Falling Leaves Stencil! super duper love the texture it adds!

the bright colors against that soft kraft background just gets me in the feels! ha!

such a lucky duck!

hello!
today I have a card up on the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog, and it's super fun!

I created this card with current challenge in mind - using something old and something new! I used a bunch of Lawn Fawn goodies on my card, so let's get to it!

those cute little ducks (and sentiments) are from Rub-a-Dub-Dub, and I super LOVE them! they're so cute! ha! the little costumed kid is from Easter Party!
I colored all of the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then fussy cut them out!

oh yeah, did I mention this is my first ever reveal wheel card? yep! I used the new Reveal Wheel Square Add On die set, with the Speech Bubble Add On dies, too! (there was a LOT more die cutting on this card, then I'm used to! ha!)
I also used the Grassy Border and Ocean Wave Border dies for this scene!

all of the background was ink blended with Distress Inks (Wilted Violet and Shaded Lilac for the sky, Peacock Feathers and Blueprint Sketch for the water and Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn for the grass!). whew!

I really LOVE how this came out!

Simon Says 2018 Stamptember + Newton's Nook Release!

eeeeep!
how awesome is the month of Stamptember!? ha ha!
and it just got even MORE awesome with a Newton's Nook collaboration!!!

I just LOVE this stamp set!! it's SO sweet and perfect for ANY time of the year!
I really LOVE these critters holding the banners - it's so sweet! and I couldn't resist making a foxy card! ha!

I stamped and colored everything with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. then i fussy cut it all out and popped up the image with foam tape!
the background was created with various scraps of yellow cardstock in a diaganol pattern that I die cut out with the Framework die set!

then I used the Cloudy Sky Stencil to add some white embossing paste texture all over the card! I love how it overlaps the 'frame'!
to finish off the card, I tore one side of the card so a little bit of black and white washi tape peeks through! so FUN!
oh, I also added some tiny, tiny Pretty Pink Posh Sequins for shine!

here's to you!

hello again!

today I have a card up on the Newton's Nook Designs blog! woot!

I used the super cute and fun Cocktail Mixer stamp set and coordinating dies!
all of the images were colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then added some white details with a pen, for funsies! :P

I arranged all of the images onto a light grey cardstock that I had smeared with a little white embossing paste for texture!
once the glasses were all arranged, I added the sentiment banner and a few white acrylic paint drops!

Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #37 - Something Old, Something New

yahooo! it's time for a NEW challenge over at the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog!

this challenge was MADE for Lawn Fawn products: something old and something new! and nothing goes together better than Lawn Fawn sets!! it's perfect!

what a FUN, unique and amazing idea for a challenge! I love it!
so I used old, new and everything in between! ha!
here's my card:

looooove it!
I stamped and colored the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then fussy cut them out! The critters are from the brand new Winter Skies stamp set! and that moon is actually the sun image from Out of This World! ha!
the background was distress ink blended with Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch and Peacock Feathers.

then I heat embossed using the Starry Backdrops stamp set to add to the night, winter sky!
I die cut the grass with the Grassy Border die, too! I know I've done waves like this on past cards, but I just couldn't help making another one here! it's SO fun!

but wait, there's more!

I also used the Mini Pop-Up Box die to create a fun element inside!!!
all of the planets were chilly-willy (it's Christmas!), so I gave them all scarves and hats from the various sets:

I seriously LOVE the continuation of the sentiment inside...it's perfect for my parents, since my mom always says she's loves my little Menn to Pluto and back!!

Newton's Nook Designs September Release - Thankful Thoughts, Tea Rex, and Slothy Coffee + coordinating Dies

I am super in love with this release!

my first card uses that hilarious dino!

I colored in the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then used the coordinating die cuts to cut them out!

I used the super versatile Essential Alphabet Die Set to add to the fun and whimsy!

the background was created with the Tropical Leaves stencil! I rubbed some Distress Inks onto the stencil, spritzed with water and pressed it onto the cardstock! so fun!

my second card features that ADORABLE sloth image! eeee!

I just that cute little guy!

I love him lined up with those rainbow cups from Newton Loves Coffee stamp set!

a few sequins finished off the card!

my last card is a shaker card!

I used the Darling Hearts Die set to create the shaker part! and the cute image is from Newton's Graduation stamp set!

I stamped sentiment from Thankful Thoughts inside the shaker part! love how this turned out!

Newton's Nook Designs September Release - Harvest Tails + coordinating Die

I am super in love with this release!

the little critters on this set is so cute!!

my first card uses the adorable fox!

you have been waiting for me to bring a rainbow this fall, I know it! ha!

I colored in the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then used the coordinating die cuts to cut them out!

I added some glitter the middles of the pumpkins too!! ha!!

the background was created with Fossilized Amber and Vintage Photo Distress Oxide inks! then I used white embossing paste and the incredible Tree Rings stencil! SO MUCH texture! I love it!

my second card is soooo sweet, I just love it!

see? that deer...with her pink pumpkins! I love it!

I used the Land Border Dies and Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn Distress Inks to ink blend the grass area.
the vellum was cut with the Sky Borders Die set and then I used more of the embossing paste and the Cloudy Sky Stencil to add more fun to the top of the card!

I heat embossed the sentiment onto a strip of black cardstock and then popped it up, too!
