my heart-shaped card!

hello and happy middle of the week to you!
today I have a card up on the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog - and it's so sweet!

I used the Outside In Stitched Heart Stackable dies to create a heart-shaped card! then I used some white embossing paste, that I tinted with a light grey ink to add the strips!
there are SO MANY different kinds of flowers on this card, and I colored all of them Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then fussy cut them out!
the sets I used are: Stinkin' Cute, Toadally Awesome, Hang in There, Gleeful Gardens and Fairy Friends!

they're so bright and happy!

I layered them all along one side of the card and then added my sentiment from Gleeful Gardens!

I hope you check out the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog!
and be sure to play along with the next amazing challenge!
enjoy!

Newton's Nook Designs and Xyron Inspiration Week 2018!

This week Newton's Nook Designs and Xyron are partnering for a very awesome inspiration week! Each day there is fresh inspiration using Newton's Nook Designs products with Xyron adhesives on the NND blog and on the Xyron facebook page!

I love love love this amazing collaboration! And I had such an amazing time creating my card!

eeeep! love it!
I colored all of the images from the Cosmic Newton stamps, with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers! once everything was dry, I added some details with a white pen and then used the coordinating dies to cut them out! so easy!

those tiny little stars are SO fun and I love the effect they add to the card! it was SO EASY to adhere them with the Xyron Create a Sticker! it literally turns your die cuts into stickers, which makes them so easy to add to any card! no messy glue creeping out the side! ha!

I added color to the hills with Distress Oxides in Twisted Citron and Lucky Clover! then I die cut them with the Land Borders Dies and adhered them to my card with the Xyron Mega Runner! love it!

lastly, the galaxy area was created with lots of watercolor, Distress Inks and the Starfield Stencil! I used some transfer gel and foil to create the starry background!

I used Festive Berries Distress Ink and a stencil to create that triangle-d look. and then I heat embossed the sentiment onto a banner from the Framework Die set and popped it up!

my second card I combined the new set with the older Made from Scratch stamp set! talk about a purr-fect match!

I stamped all of the 'cooking tools' images in a light grey, and then lightly...ever so lightly added shading to them!
