today I'm excited to share this card that I have up on the Lawn Fawn blog, and BONUS: I have a video too!

my card uses the sweet, cute and fun Toucan Do It stamps and dies!

I colored all of the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then used the coordinating dies to die cut them out! so easy!
I then I used the Outside In Stitched Balloon Stackables to die cut out an oversided balloon! I used Distress Inks in Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn and Pine Needles. then I used the same colors with the Tropical Leaves Background Stencils, but with more pressure. I also splattered some color around the balloon!

I used Distress Inks in Seedless Preserves, Picked Raspberry and Dried Marigold to ink blend the background! I used the Starry Sky Stencil and the same colors to add the stars. then I used the stencil again, with white embossing paste to add texture!

lastly, I used the Grassy Border Die to create some grass to add to for the cute little cheetahs! I heat embossed the sentiment in white on a curve along the balloon for a little whimsy!

today I have this punny card up on the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog! it's so fun, and it's in the theme of the newest Lawn Fawnatics Challenge, which is all about food!

so fun, right!?
I just love food puns! they're my favorite! I used the sweet images from Let's Toast and colored them with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then fussy cut them out! they're so adorable, and of course I had to add the smiley faces to everything! eep!

for the background, I used the Simple Stripes: Diagonal which I loooooove! I used Distress Oxide Inks in Blueprint Sketch and Salvaged Patina to ink blend the stripes. then I used the Narwhal Ink to add some soft grey to the edges of the white panels for dimension. then I splattered some water on top of it all!

Lastly, I heat embossed the custom phrase with Harold's ABCs onto a banner that was die cut from the Fancy Wavy Banners!

shark bites!

well hello again!
today I have this fun, Shark Week inspired card up on the Newton's Nook Designs blog!

love it!
I used the super fun Shark Bites stamps and dies! and I decided to color the sharks in yellow for a change - why not?! lol!
I love how it turned out!

I used Distress Oxide Inks in Chipped Sapphire, Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon and Salvaged Patina to ink blend the background! then I splattered some water on top! I also stamped some schools of fish in tone-on-tone ink in the background! so fun!

I used the Sunscape Stencil and some glitter paste to add the sun rays through the water!
then I heat embossed the sentiment in white onto a speech bubble from the Speech Bubbles Die Set.

Lawn Fawnatics Challenge 105 - Fun with Food

let's start this week off with a NEW challenge over at the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog!

there are so many adorable food images from Lawn Fawn! I had a hard time narrowing it down! but I decided to go with a cute modified birthday dino!

I ink blended the background of the card with Distress Inks in Picked Raspberries and Squeezed Lemonade! then I splattered some water on top!

 

I colored all of the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then fussy cut them out! the dinos are from Rawrsome, the balloons and small cupcakes are from Party Animal and the cupcake on the balloon is from A Bug Deal! 

 

 

I love this cute little birthday card!

Newton's Nook Designs 8 Year Celebration - Newton’s Cupcake + coordinating Dies, 3 Piece Cupcake Stenci

these cupcake-themed products are just adorable!

my first card uses just the stamp set/dies:

I started by coloring the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then used the coordinating dies to die cut them out! I also added in the balloons from the Fabulous Frenchies stamp set!

then I used Distress Inks in Abandoned Coral and Dried Marigold to create the background with the help of the Bokeh Stencil Set!
and finally, I added some glitter to the hat and balloons!

my next card uses the new stencil!

did someone say rainbow!? oh yes, it was me!
I ink blended all of the stencils in rainbow colors. then I used the final layer of the stencil set to add the sprinkles and cherries in rainbow foil!

I used Distress Inks in Vintage Photo and Fossilized Amber to add color to the pawprint from Pawprint Shaker Die Set. then I stamped a new phrase in the paw!

I added to the sentiment by combining it with a phrase from Birthday Roundabout, and heat embossing it onto a black banner from Banner Trio Die Set!

I used the sweetest little santa and reindeer images from Lawn Fawn! lol!

so cute!
I love that Santa and his reindeer from ho-ho-holidays! they're just so cute!
I colored the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then fussy cut them out!

for the background, I Distress Inks in Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon and Cracked Pistachio. I splattered some water on top and then used white embossing paste and the Snowflake Trio stencil for some texture!

I combined the sentiments from ho-ho-holidays with a custom phrase from Harold's ABCs!

well hello there!
and join me as I celebrate my birthday! today I have this fun card up on the Newton's Nook Designs blog, and it's all my favorite things! lol!

I used the super fun Cocktail Mixer stamps and dies for my card! they were colored in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers!

I used Distress Oxide Inks in Cracked Pistachio, Mermaid Lagoon and Chipped Sapphire to ink blend the background. then I used the Sunscape Stencil to add some rays and details to the background!

I also splattered some ink color and white acrylic ink on the background...because: fizz!! lol!

then I heat embossed the sentiment onto a black Speech Bubble and popped it up!

Fawny Summer Inspiration Week 2021

today I'm so excited to take part in the the Fawny Summer Inspiration week!

I have this fun summer-y card up on the Lawn Fawn blog, and it's got me feeling all the good vibes!

these toucans from Toucan Do It are just the cutest! I colored them in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then die cut them out with the coordinating dies!

for the background, I used alcohol inks to create the pretty, flowy background! then I used the Simple Stripes: Diagonal to add some interest! love how it looks!

I die cut out the beautiful Magic Iris Tropical Leaves Add-On from vellum, for a soft look. then I finished the card off by heat embossing the sentiment on a black banner die cut from the Fancy Wavy Banners.

I sprinkled on some clear gems to add sparkle around the leaves!

today I have this card up on the Newton's Nook Designs blog - and it's a happy, summertime card!

talk about happy!
I love that rainbow ocean!
I used the Sky Borders Die Set to die cut some waves. then on each panel, I used Distress Inks to ink blend and splatter color and white acrylic ink on top. easy rainbow waves!

I also used the Tropical Fish Stencil and some white embossing paste to add some texture!
I used the sweet images with the narwhals from Narly Mermaids - which is currently on sale! I love these images! I even added some glitter to the horns! I just couldn't resist adding some sparkle!

I popped up the mermaid and the sentiment!

Lawn Fawnatics Challenge 104 - Summertime Fun

let's start this week off with a NEW challenge over at the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog!

did someone say summertime? for me, summer is allll about the beach!

this beach scene is so fun!
I love those cute mice!
I used mice from Dandy Day, Bubbles of Joy, Love Poems, You're Just My Type, and Super Star. the sandcastles were from Life is Good, Fintastic Friends, and On the Beach! all of the images were colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then die cut out!

for the background, I used Vintage Photo and Fossilized Amber Distress Inks to ink blend the color. then I sprinkled on lots of color, water and white acrylic ink on top.
I just love that mouse jumping in the ocean!

I heat embossed the sentiment in white onto some black cardstock and popped it up with foam tape.
