Create a Smile Stamps 2016 November Release

hi hi hi!!

today i am sharing a few projects I made for the NEW Create a Smiles Stamps Kit release!! yay!!!!! it's SOOOO exciting!! this kit is AMAZING, INCREDIBLE and FANTASTIC!! eeee! the colors are sooooooo wintry and wonderful, and i LOOOOOVE all of the goodies! you can see the exactly what is included in the kit on the Create a Smile Stamps blog! :)

my first card uses the AWESOME ornament die that is included! i didn't use the inside portion for this card, but i will create a card with that inside soon! it's tooooo sweet! anyway! i thought it would be the sweetest little way to enclose my 'beach' scene!!

that's right - beach, not snow!! it doesn't snow here in SC, we're all about the warm weather, so i thought it would just be CUTE to create a sandy-man to send some warm wishes this year! he he he!

i watercolored the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, and then popped up the scene! I added lots of sequins around, behind and on top of the scene! to finish off the card, i used some of the letter stickers and chevron arrows that i stitched on! OHHHH! and i can't forget to mention that i used the stencil to add some white on white texture to the card base - hello snowflakes!!

my second card uses the other ADORABLE images in the included stamp set!

i watercolored these with the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers too, and then popped them up on the background of that card! i used Milled Lavender and Wilted Violet Distress Inks to create the watercolor look on the background! the sentiment was heat embossed and is from an older set called Cool Buddies (LOVE that set!)!

i used my white gel pen to add some accents to the coloring! and then, i made an executive decition to chop off the 'blades' of those ice skates that he's wearing! i am ALLLLLLL about ice skating and hockey, so believe me, it was a surprise to me too! ha! but doesn't it look like he's running to those presents?! ha ha!! he looks so happy!

so be sure to check out the full reveal of the kit on the Create a Smile Stamps blog and to get your hands on one while you can!! it's amazing!
enjoy!

i due cut come hills in vellum and then die cut the WHOLE scene in a circle shape! love those glittery stars! i think this is so pretty!

my second card was created in a similar way! i used Distress Markers to color onto the stamp images themselves, but this time, those foxes got some love!

eeeee! they're so cute! i used an old grass punch to add to the scene! and the trees were heat embossed in white onto some grey snowflake patterend paper! i thought that really added to the look of the birch trees!

A Very Fawny Holiday Week 2016 - Day 3

Hi hi hi!
Have I mentioned how much I love Fawny Holiday Week on the Lawn Fawn blog?! It's SO fun and inspirational!!

It's my favorite time of the year, and Lawn Fawn is nice enough to have the Lawnscaping Challenge girls join in on the fun!! Yay!!!!

I created a layout with the very sweet, and super serene Let it Snow stamp set!

I used the trees and stamped them in Cracked Pistachio and Twisted Citron Distress Inks to create a subtle little winter forest behind my photo! I also used the same distress inks to create a watercolor-ed look, too. I stamped the start images in black to add some more whimsy and magic to the 'scene' of my layout! Ha!

I layered my photos with various papers from the Let's Polka collection in pinks and greens, and I also used a tag and doily from my stash! I machine stitched the title on, and then finished off the page with some tiny black splatters and that CUTE flair button!

25 Days of Christmas Tags - Lawn Fawn

hi there!

today i'm super excited to be able to join in on the fun with the 25 Days of Christmas Tags event as part of the Lawnscaping Challenge design team!

it's all about Lawn Fawn today, and i'm just thrilled to be able to share this adorable, snowy little scene with you!

i colored that cute little deer and stack of presents from the Toboggan Together stamp set with Copics! I really love the pops of green and teal on the snow hills!

and speaking of hills...i did LOTS of die cutting on this little tag! the star shape is from the Puffy Star Stackables dies, and that starry background is the Snowy Backdrop die! I also cut a few layers of white cardstock with the Stitched Hillside Borders die to create the hills! the topmost hill is popped up with foam tape!

finally, i used  the Silver Sparkle Cord to add some shine to match the silver glittered stars peeking out of the background!

so make sure you head over to Tracey's blog so you can see all of the fun going on with the 25 Days of Christmas Tags!! :)
enjoy!
