I have this card up on the Lawn Fawn blog!!

Samantha Casey and I teamed up for a fun "Sam Day" on the Lawn Fawn blog using the same Lawn Fawn supplies!

It's so fun!
here's my card:

the 3 sets we both used were Happy Haunting, Beam Me Up and Monster Mash!

I started by using black gesso to add a sky to my card front. then I used a star stencil and some white embossing paste to add the stars - they really pop!

the images were all colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then fussy cut out!
I LOVE that they're in rainbow order...I couldn't resist! lol!

so be sure to check out the Lawn Fawn blog to see "Sam Day" in it's finest! I can't wait to see what Samantha Casey made!!

Lawn Fawn Holiday Greetings!

hello!!
today I have this fun, rainbow-y winter scene to get you through the week!
It's up on the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog, so be sure to check it out there, too!

I stamped the houses from Winter Village and then colored them in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers! once they were dry, I fussy cut them out and added glitter with Diamond Stickles to the snow on the roofs!

for the background I did some ink blending with Distress Inks in Seedless Preserves, Picked Raspberries and Dried Marigold!
then I added some white embossing paste with a snow stencil for some texture! as soon as I lifted up the stencil, I added some clear, glitter embossing powder! when the paste was dry, I heat set the glitter - love the sparkle!

thanks so much for checking out my card with me! be sure to play along with the Bling/Sparkle challenge on the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge!

Newton’s Nook Designs 2018 Holiday Release - Day 1

hello and happy Monday!
This week starts off the amazing holiday release week with Newton’s Nook Designs

I am super in love with this release!
these sets are so FUN and perfect for the back to school days and Halloween coming up, too!
today we're sharing the classicaly Beautiful Winter Memories stamp and die set along with 3 brand new stencils and 2 new die sets!!! It’s quite a release
you can totally create a project life type spread, gift tags and, of course, cards! all of the new sets will be available for purchase on October 19th, right here!

My card uses the Winter Memories and Holiday Greetings die set!

I stamped the trees and ice with Distress Oxide Inks using the ‘rock and roll’ technique! Then I die cut out the scene with the coordinating dies. These adorable, and really quintessential Christmas images are sooooooo easy to build a scene! I could play with this set for days and every scene would be different!

The background was rested with regular Distress Inks which I watercolored to create the sunset sky!

The sentiment is a combination of a phrase from the stamp set and the new die set! I die cut out the word 5 times with glitter cardstock to add some dimension! Then I sprinkled some gold Heidi Swapp Color Shine over the card. Love how it came out!

Would you like to win the “Winter Memories”  Stamp Set?
This stamp set will be given away to ONE lucky winner!
