swinging i like big butterflies card

I'm so excited to share that today I have this fun, interactive card up on the Lawn Fawn blog!

I had so much fun making this spring-themed card!
I combined some new and old products and had so much fun making them all work together!
I stamped the images from I Like Big Butterflies, Gleeful Gardens, Fairy Friends and Capybaras! Add-on. I colored them all in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I also added some details with a white gel pen. Once everything was dry, I used the coordinating dies to die cut them out.

I used some of the Gleeful Gradients Petite Paper Pack for the background. Then I die cut out some of the Puffy Cloud Borders from white cardstock, and popped it up with foam tape. To make the little butterfly holding the flower swing, I attached it to a strip of acetate. The acetate was then added to the patterned paper (under the cloud border) with a tiny brad. I love the butterfly swinging back and forth! It's such a fun detail!

For the bottom of the card, I used lots of the grass images and flowers, along with a few of the snails from Gleeful Gardens, to really add to the springtime feel of the card!

I heat embossed the sentiment in white onto white cardstock. Then I did some ink blending with Distress Inks in Pine Needles, Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron. I fussy cut it out and attached it to the card. I finished off the card with a little bit of glitter on the butterfly wings and snail shells with some Stickles!

Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #216 - Happy Birthday Lawn Fawn

let's start this week off with a NEW challenge over at the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog!

I stamped the images from You Goat This, All-Star and Party Animal and then used the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to color them in. I also added some details with a white gel pen. then I used the coordinating dies to die cut them out.

for the background, I did ink blending with Distress Inks in Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon, Peacock Feathers and Salvaged Patina.
then I used the Lots of Stars Background Stencils and the same colors, but with more pressure to add the fun tone-on-tone look! so fun!!
I also used some white embossing paste and a just a few of the stars to add even more interest and texture!

I heat embossed the sentiment in white onto Black Licorice Cardstock and then cut them in strips.
I popped them up with foam tape and the card was done!

big butterfly wishes!

Hi and happy Saturday!
Today I am happy to share this card up on the Lawn Fawn blog featuring some older and brand new products!
And bonus: I even have a video to go along with it!  You can check it out here or on my youtube channel!

I started by stamping the images from A Bug Deal and I Like Big Butterflies. Then I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to color them in.  I added some details with a white gel pen to add some extra whimsy, and then once everything was dry I die cut the images out with their coordinating dies.

I actually stamped all of the butterfly images because I couldn't help myself; they're so cute! Alas, there was 1 of the images that didn't make it on this card, but I'm saving it for another card in the future! Don't worry!

I die cut out the front of the card from white cardstock with the Reveal Wheel die set. Then I used the Woodgrain Stencil and Distress Inks in Vintage Photo, Walnut Stain and Fossilized Amber.  When I took the stencil off, I used the same colors, but with a little less pressure - and I love that tone-on-tone look!
I also used the same colors for the actual wheel of the card, so it looks similar to the rest of the background.
I used some Mermaid Cardstock with a tiny bit of Distress Inks in Blueprint Sketch and Mermaid Lagoon along the edges, too!

Once  the Reveal Wheel mechanism was created and put together with foam tape, I started to add all of the images to the card.
I love that it looks like the butterflies are frolicking in a forest! So cute!

I heat embossed the sentiment in white onto Black Licorice Cardstock and then die cut it out with the Stitched Sentiment Banner dies.
And to finish off the card, I used Distress Inks in Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron for the tiny arrow along the wheel on the card, too!

rainbows and glitter!

hello and happy wedensday!
today I have this sweet card up on the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog!
the current challenge is all about rainbows, so...enter Sam!! ha!

I love this card!
I used the rainbow theme literally, obviously! but I kept the actual colors warm and bright! I wanted to use the rainbows, but in a twist! love how it came out!
I stamped the images from All the Clouds and My Rainbow. I colored them in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then added some details with a white gel pen. I also splattered the cloud images with white acrylic ink! once it was all dry, I used the coordinating dies to die cut them out.

for the background, I used Distress Oxide Inks in Seedless Preserves, Picked Raspberry, Saltwater Taffy and Dried Marigold.
the blend is gorgeous!!!! I wanted to echo the colors from the rainbows that I colored, and I LOVE how the background came out.

the sentiment was created by heat embossing the phrases from Unicorn Picnic in white onto Black Licorice Cardstock. once it was cooled, I fussy cut it out and then popped it up with foam tape.
I also finished off the card with a sprinkling of sequin stars! it adds the perfect amount of whimsy!

I love these cute and FUN bunnies!

I stamped the images from the new Springtime Bunnies and then colored them in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I added some details with a white gel pen and then die cut them out with the coordinating dies! I love them!

I did some ink blending a pastel color palette. then, using a white piece of cardstock, I die cut out the bunny images. then I die cut that panel with the Frames & Flags die set.
I popped up the whole white panel with foam tape.

the card base was made with some super light beige cardstock. then I used that same cardstock to back the sentiment. the sentiment is the Happy Easter Die Set.

I finished off the card by adding some fluffy white pom-poms as tails for these bunnies!

I love the idea of a pile of rainbow colored easter eggs! lol!
I die cut out the eggs all from white cardstock. then I used a plethora of rainbow colored Distress Inks to add colors.
once I added the fun white egg detailed borders and images, I added some glitter! the glitter made me reminisce of coloring eggs with my boys when they were little and added glitter packets to the cups of dye! lol

I die cut out a piece of light grey cardstock with the Basic Frames Die Set, and then placed that on top of a piece of whit cardstock. that white cardstock was then die cut with the Frames & Tags die set.
and all of that was placed on top of the patterned paper from the Happy Easter Paper Pack! 

 

 

the sentiment is from the new Springtime Bunnies and heat embossed in white onto black cardstock. then I die cut it out with the Banner Trio Die Set.

this new die set is SO fun and unique! I have so many fun and exciting ideas for future projects!

I stamped the images from the new Springtime Bunnies too. and then colored them in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I added some details with a white gel pen and then die cut them out with the coordinating dies! I love them!

I decided to go with some bunny and carrot themed paper to go with the images I chose to color. SO fun!! ha!! I used the Corner Flip Die on just one of the corners and LOVE that pop of yellow that it adds!  the papers are from the new Happy Easter Paper Pack.

I die cut the center diamond from some light grey cardstock, and heat embossed the sentiment in white. I also popped up the center diamond!
