Create a Smile Stamps - April 2023 Release

hi there!
today I'm so excited to share my cards for the Create a Smile stamps April 2023 release!
all of the sets are so cute and fun and you can see them all here!

my first card uses the new Dream Big stamp set!

it's so dreamy and beautiful and the combinations you can create are endless! wow!
I used the moon image as my main dream catcher image! and then I couldn't help but color all of the beads and feathers in a rainbow pattern! of course!

for the background, I used Distress Inks in Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon and Salvaged Patina with some ink blending. then I used the same colors and added some watercolor texture on top! I think it adds a very whimsical and dream-like feel!

I heat embossed the sentiment in white on black cardstock and then fussy cut out around it! I also popped it up for some dimension.

my next card uses the suuuuuuuper cute Whaley Great stamp set!

this set is so cute and adorable and I think it just might be my favorite under water ocean critter set ever! adorable!

I colored all of these images in with Copic Markers and then fussy cut them out! I also added some details with a white gel pen!

I used Distress Inks in Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon and Salvaged Patina along the edge of a card front. then I splattered some white acrylic ink on top. I popped up some of the critters with foam tape and then tore the edge of my card front and popped that up with foam tape!

I finished off the card with some sequins in the water!

ok, let's get onto my card!
I used these amazing and CUTE and fun stamps from Create a Smile Stamps!

so cute!

I colored all of the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, and then fussy cut them out! I also added some details with a white gel pen! I used the mole from Light Up the Dark, the trees from Incredible, and the sign and present from Christmas is Coming!

I used Distress Oxide Inks in Pine Needles, Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron to ink blend the background. then I used the Leafy Stencil from Create a Smile Stamps to add the leaves in the same colors!
I also used the Wave of Snowflakes Stencil with some white embossing paste to add some snowy texture to this jungle scene!

the sentiment was created by using both the Letters and Tiny Letterings.

Create a Smile Stamps - April 2022 Release

hello!
today is release day with Create a Smile Stamps and I'm so excited to share my cards!


my first card uses the adorable new Butterflies stamp set!

and they're so cute!
I decided to give these butterflies double wings! so I stamped and colored the base with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers! then I stamped and heat embossed the image again on vellum and colored it in with Copic Markers. then I layered them all on top and only glued the vellum down by the middle portion!

for the background I used Distress Oxide Inks in Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch and Mermaid Lagoon. then I used the Cloud Pattern Stencil and some white embossing paste for texture!

lastly, I heat embossed the sentiment in black onto vellum and fussy cut it out, using the Miss You stamp set! 

my second card uses the super adorable Llamazing stamp set and Desert Stencil!

soooo cute!
I loooooove those llamas!!
they were all colored in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then fussy cut out! so cute!!

for the background, I ink blended with Distress Oxide Inks in Pine Needles, Lucky Clover and Cracked Pistachio! then I used new stencil to create the desert scene in the background!! LOOOOOVE the subtle cacti!

I also added the balloon from Crazy Chick! my favorite accessory for a birthday card!
the sentiment was heat embossed onto some back cardstock that was die cut with the Speech Bubbles dies!

I used these amazing and CUTE and fun stamps from Paperie Ink: Holiday Mood

so cute!

I colored all of the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, and then fussy cut them out! I also added some details with a white gel pen! I did some altering of the images after I cut them out - for instance, the legs of the one sloth is behind the sentiment, and the hat on the other sloth goes under the sentiment as well!

I used Distress Oxide Inks in Pine Needles, Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron to ink blend the background. then I used the Leafy Stencil from Create a Smile Stamps to add the leaves in the same colors!
I also used the Wave of Snowflakes Stencil with some white embossing paste to add some snowy texture to this jungle scene!

the sentiment was heat embossed in white onto a strip of black cardstock.

I used these amazing and CUTE and fun products from Create a Smile Stamps and Reverse Confetti! 

so cute!

I colored all of the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, and then fussy cut them out! the set (Jolly Holiday) is an oldie, but it's SOOOOO cute!! I couldn't resist coloring it up, one more time!

I used Distress Inks in Pine Needles, Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron to ink blend the background. then I used the Blizzard Stencil from Create a Smile Stamps with the same colors, but with more pressure to add the subtle snowflakes!
I finished it up by splattering some water and white acylic ink on top!

the sentiment was heat embossed from Most Wonderful Time in white onto black cardstock, and then fussy cut out!

I used these amazing and CUTE and fun products from Create a Smile Stamps! 

so cute!

I colored all of the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, and then fussy cut them out! the presents are from the adorable Unpack Me stamp set!

I also used the Slimline Frames & Portholes die set from Newton's Nook Designs, to create the smiline card!
I used Distress Inks in Pine Needles, Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron to ink blend and make it lighter in the center.

then I used the Wonky Stars stencil and the same colors, but with more pressure to create the tone-on-tone colors! I also splattered some white acrylic ink on top!

the sentiment was heat embossed from Most Wonderful Time in white onto vellum, and then fussy cut out!

ok, let's get onto my card!
I used some of my favorite stamps and stencils from Create a Smile Stamps!

so cute!

who's ready for some sparkle?! lol!

I used the adorable and oversized Be Jolly stamp set from Create a Smile Stamps! aren't they so cute!?

the images were stamped and then watercolored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. once dry, I fussy cut them out and added some white gel pen details!

I used Distress Inks in Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon, Cracked Pistachio and Twisted Citron to create the ink blended background. once I had the base layer done, I used the Fragments Stencil! loooove that stencil! 

once that was all done, I splattered some water on top. and when it was dry, I used the beautiful Snowflake Stencil and some sparkly paste to add the shiiiiine! lol!

I attached the ornaments by stitching on my sewing machine! so fun!

Create a Smile Stamps September 2021 Release

hello and happy Friday!
today, Create a Smile Stamps is releasing a holiday extravaganza of stamps, dies and stencils!

I used the new Christmas is Coming stamp set and Talk to Me Stencil to create my first card!

I stamped and colored the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then fussy cut them out! I love those little puffins decorating the northpole sign!! adorable!
I ink blended the background with Distress Oxide Inks in Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon and Cracked Pistachio. then I layered some torn vellum and white cardstock on top for the frozen tundra!

I used the new stencil and added some Black Ink for the speech bubble, and then heat embossed the sentiment!
so fun!

my next card uses the new Santa's Little Helpers stamp set and Basic Hearts Stencil!

eeep! that little santa (or elf!) is soooo busy wrapping all the presents!!

again, I colored all of the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then fussy cut them all out!

I did some ink blending with Abandoned Coral and Dried Marigold Distress Inks. then I used the Basic Hearts stencil with the same colors, but with a little more pressure. then, I used the Snowflake Stencil and some white embossing paste to add even more texture to the background!

I love the whimsical feel of this card!
