Simon Says Stamptember 2025 + Newton's Nook Designs

hello and happy Newton's Nook Designs + Simon Says Stamp collab day for Stamptember!

so exciting and fun!
I am in LOVE with this new set and it's totally up my alley since I spend most of my free time at a hockey rink! lol!

adorable!!
I stamped and colored the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. of course I added some details with a white gel pen, too! then once it was all dry, I used the coordinating dies to die cut them out.


I used the Oval Frame Dies from Newton's Nook to create the ice rink...but you can't tell. BECAUSE when I was popping up the beige border...I didn't line up the corners correctly! lol! oooopsie!
anyway, I used Distress Oxide Inks in Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon and Salvaged Patina for the ice. then I splattered the same colors on top.

for the border, I used some beige cardstock and splattered some white acrylic ink on top, then popped it up around the pond (as mentioned...NOT in the original oval shape! lol).
Then I placed some of the snowflakes all around the scene! love them!

I heat embossed the sentiment onto black carstock and cardstock I watercolored to match the scarves of the images, and combined them to add a little extra pizzazz to the sentiment! lol!

I just LOVE this stamp set!! it's SO cute, and funny and perfect for the fall, thanksgiving season! Can you guess which images is my favorite!? hint: I actually didn't use it on my card! ha!! too many good choices!

I stamped and colored everything with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. then i fussy cut it all out and popped the cute sleeping puppy and the blanket!
I couldn't resist coloring the couch in the warm pinks! so fun!

for the background, I used Hills & Grass stencil as a mask to create the wispy-background! then I used the  Falling Leaves Stencil with Distress Inks in Ripe Persimmon, Squeezed Lemonade and Picked Raspberry. then I splattered some white acrylic ink and gold ink on top!

I just LOVE this stamp set!! it's SO cute, and funny and perfect for the fall, thanksgiving season! Can you guess which images is my favorite!? hint: I actually didn't use it on my card! ha!! too many good choices!

I stamped and colored everything with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. then i fussy cut it all out and popped up all of the images with foam tape!
I thought of making a rainbow turkey, and I just couldn't move on until it was on a card! ha!

for the background, I used the Falling Leaves Stencil with Distress Inks in Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon and Salvaged Patina. first, I ink blended the whole background in those colors, then I placed the stencil on top, and used the same colors, but with more pressure to make the darker leaves!

 

I heat embossed part of the sentiment onto a black cardstock banner. and then I used the Speech Bubbles Die Set to die cut out the other part of the phrase!

I just LOVE this stamp set!! it's SO sweet and perfect for ANY time of the year! it's full of the sweetest critters and best birthday wishes! it's perfect for ANY cat or dog lover in your life!
I had a BLAST with this sweet pup on my card!

I stamped and colored everything with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. then i fussy cut it all out and popped up all of the images with foam tape!
I don't know which little pet I love more, the kitty or the puppies! they're ALL so adorable!

for the background, I used the Sunscape Stencil with Distress Inks in Picked Raspberry and Squeezed Lemonade! first, I ink blended the whole background in those colors, then I placed the stencil on top, and used the same colors, but with more pressure to make the darker rays!

 

once that was done, I used the Pawprints Stencil and some white embossing paste to add some texture to the card!
then I stamped the sentiment on top!

I created the background with Peacock Feathers and Blueprint Sketch Distress Inks and the ever-fun packaging technique so it looks like watercolors! 
once it was all dry, I added some white embossing paste with the Starfield Stencil for some extra texture and fun!

I finished off the card with some chunky Stickles for a little glitter pizzaz!

Simon Says 2018 Stamptember + Newton's Nook Release!

and it just got even MORE awesome with a Newton's Nook collaboration!!! 

I just LOVE this stamp set!! it's SO sweet and perfect for ANY time of the year!
I really LOVE these critters holding the banners - it's so sweet! and I couldn't resist making a foxy card! ha!

I stamped and colored everything with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. then i fussy cut it all out and popped up the image with foam tape!
the background was created with various scraps of yellow cardstock in a diaganol pattern that I die cut out with the Framework die set!

then I used the Cloudy Sky Stencil to add some white embossing paste texture all over the card! I love how it overlaps the 'frame'! 
to finish off the card, I tore one side of the card so a little bit of black and white washi tape peeks through! so FUN!
oh, I also added some tiny, tiny Pretty Pink Posh Sequins for shine!

i just LOVE this stamp set!! it's SO sweet and SO fall!! it's everything to love!!

my very first thought was to make it look like that little pup was pushing the wheel barrel as fast as he could!!

I stamped and colored everything with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. then i fussy cut it all out and popped up the images that aren't just grey with foam tape!

i also added some tiny, tiny Pretty Pink Posh Sequins to the pile of leaves and the leaves that were flying out of the wagon! 
for the background, i did some ink blending with Distress Inks in Peacock Feathers and Blueprint Sketch. then i placed the Waves Stencil to make it look like wind!

i love it SO much, i made TWO cards!

my first one is a shaker, and it's SO cute!

what's not to like?! that CUTE raccoon is SO adorable!! I colored the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers  and then die cut the bird out!

the background was ink blended with Distress Inks and then i splattered some water on top! a favorite technique, to be sure! 

my second card uses that ADORABLE fox image!!

i seriously LOVE him!
again, i colored with my Zigs, and then die cut it out!

the sentiment and the mushrooms were heat embossed in white, and then i did lots more ink blending to create the sky!! it's basically all the same supplies, but a totally different card!! so FUN!
