you're stu-panda-s!

hello!
today I'm super excited to share this fun card that's up on the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog!
the current challenge is all about critters in the wild! and this card fits perfectly!

I love it!
I started by stamping the images from I Heart Pandas and I Heart Pandas Add-On. then I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to color them in. once they were all dry, I used a white gel pen to add some whimsical details to the images. so fun!

I used Distress Oxide Inks in Pine Needles, Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron on white cardstock. then i die cut it out with the Bamboo Forest Backdrop: Landscape. I used more Distress Oxide Inks in Chipped Sapphire, Seedless Preserves, Milled Lavender, Antique Linen and Vintage Photo for the background. I love the contrast of the purples and greens.

I heat embossed the custom sentiment in white onto some Black Licorice Cardstock using Harold's ABCs. then I die cut it out with a banner from the Stitched Sentiment Banners. I love that panda-pun!

Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #225 - Let's Go Wild

happy Monday!
let's start this week off with a NEW challenge over at the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog!


any excuse to play with some Lawn Fawn critters is a good excuse!

I haven't made a card with these cute froggos in a while, so I decided to color them up!

I started by stamping the images from Toadally Awesome and All the Grasses. then I colored them in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I added some details with a white gel pen. then once everything was dry, I used the coordinating dies to die cut them out.

I did lots of ink blending for the background! 
first, I used the Stitched Pond and die cut out the shape from some white cardstock.  I used Distress Oxide Inks in Pine Needles, Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron. then I added some foam tape behind them to pop them up.
I used Distress Oxide Inks in Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon and Salvaged Patina for the pond itself.

then, I finished by heat embossing the sentiment in white onto some Black Licorice Cardstock. I popped it up with foam tape, as well as the frog in the pond and the lily pad flowers.

Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #224 - Christmas in July

happy Monday!

I just love making holiday cards in the summer! it's a great way to escape the heat for a few moments! lol!

I started by stamping the images from Highland Cows!, All the Grasses, and Cozy Cats. then I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to color them in. I added some details with a white gel pen, and then used the coordinating dies to die cut them out.

for the background, I die cut out a bunch of ground using the Grassy Border and Stitched Hillside Borders then I added colors with Distress Oxide Inks in Pine Needles, Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron. then I splattered all over the background with white acrylic ink to mimic snowfalling. then I wanted to also add some texture, so I used some white embossing paste and the Snowflakes stencil for a little whimsical snow, too!

I added the winter apparel to the cute cows and then popped them up with foam tape.
the sentiment was partially die cut with Henry's ABCs from Black Licorice Cardstock, and then heat embossed in white with the sentiment from
Cozy Cats Christmas Add-on.

coconuts for you!

the current challenge is all about those summer vibes!
I am in love with the cute food people in the Summer Friends stamp set!
I stamped the images and then used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to color them in. I also added some details with a white gel pen. once everything was dry, I used the coordinating dies to die cut them out.

I used Distress Inks to add color for the sky with Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon and Salvaged Patina. then I used the Sunray Background Stencil with the same colors to make the fun sunny look.
I also used Vintage Photo and Fossilized Amber for the beach. I die cut out the shore with white cardstock and the Stitched Hillside Borders. I also splattered the ink same ink colors and some white acrylic ink to make it look super sandy!

I die cut out a bunch of palm trees from the Hammock and Trees die set and added color with Distress Inks, too! I used the same colors for the shore, for the tree. then I used Pine Needles, Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron for the palms themselves.

LOVE how fun and summery this card is! I finished off the card by heat embossing the sentiment in white onto some Black Licorice Cardstock and then trimming it into a banner.

I started by stamping the images from Pool Party, On the Beach and Unicorn Picnic. then I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to color in the images. I also added some details with a white gel pen. then I used the coordinating dies to die cut them out!

I did lots of ink blending for the background! first I used some white cardstock and the Stitched Ripple Background to create the fun watery texture. then I used another piece of white cardstock and die cut out the frame using the Peekaboo Backdrop. both pieces of white cardstock were ink blended with Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon and Salvaged Patina Distress Inks. then for the bottom layer of the card, I splattered some water and the same ink color on top.

Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #222 - Thank You for Being a Friend

happy Monday!
let's start this week off with a NEW challenge over at the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog!


I just recently realized that I have a low amount of Thank You cards, so this is the perfect challenge for me! I can't wait to be inspired by all of the entries!


this is such a fun challenge!


I started by stamping the images from Critters in the Jungle and Critters in the Desert. I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then added some details with a white gel pen. once eveyrthing was dry, I used the coordinating dies to die cut them out.


for the background, I used the Flippin' Awesome Add-on and lots of ink blending with Distress Oxide Inks. I used Seedless Preserves, Picked Raspberry, Dried Marigold, Tattered Rose for the sky. I used Vintage Photo and Fossilized Amber for the ground.


the snakes were popped up with foam tape. and everything else was attached directly to the card.
I die cut the sentiment using the Henry's ABCs from Fog Cardstock. then I used the Basket Weave stencil and some Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide Ink to add a little scale-y texture!
