Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #78 - Make a Scene

happy Monday!
let's start this week off with a NEW challenge over at the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog!

yay!

I love creating scenes!!! the only problem, was narrowing down what sets to use! ha!

I Just Swan to Say Hi Card by Samantha Mann, Lawn Fawn, Lawn Fawnatics Challenge, Make a Scene, Distress Inks, Ink Blending, #lawnfawn #lawnfawnatics #distressinks #inkblending #cards #cardmaking #handmadecards

I decided to use the beautiful swans from Swan Soiree as my main images! i just love them!! then I added some more baby 'swans' with the ducks from Rub-A-Dub-Dub, as well some grass tufts from Toadally Awesome! all of the images were colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then fussy cut out!

I Just Swan to Say Hi Card by Samantha Mann, Lawn Fawn, Lawn Fawnatics Challenge, Make a Scene, Distress Inks, Ink Blending, #lawnfawn #lawnfawnatics #distressinks #inkblending #cards #cardmaking #handmadecards

I used the Grassy Border Dies to die cut from white cardstock, and then ink blended with Mowed Lawn, Twisted Citron and Squeezed Lemonade! then
I used Distress Inks in Seedless Preserves, Picked Raspberry and Dried Marigold for that bold, sunset-y look! I also ink blended the wavy river with Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon and Peacock Feathers, which I then die cut with the Stitched Hillside Borders Die Set!
my fingers were SUPER inky after this! haha!!
and I heat embossed the sentiment on the top with white!

I really can't WAIT for you to play along! you could win a $25 gift certificate to Lawn Fawn!!!!

enjoy!

welcome little one!

hi again!
today I have a card up on the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog - and we've got baby fever over there! ha!
the current challenge is all about babies and celebrating Kelly Marie's new bundle of joy!

for my card, I created this sweet line of laundry!

Welcome Little One Card by Samantha Mann, Lawn Fawnatics Challenge, Lawn Fawn, Distress Inks, Oxide, Baby, Cards, handmade cards, stitching #lawnfawn #lawnfawnatics #babycard #baby #cards #distressinks

I used the images from Little Bundle and colored them in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers! once everything was dry, I fussy cut them out!
I just love those little birds, I colored them like robins!
I colored all of the clothing in a rainbow order - offffffffff course I did! ha!

Welcome Little One Card by Samantha Mann, Lawn Fawnatics Challenge, Lawn Fawn, Distress Inks, Oxide, Baby, Cards, handmade cards, stitching #lawnfawn #lawnfawnatics #babycard #baby #cards #distressinks

when I 'strung the clothes on the line', I added some foam tape the bottom parts, so the top of the clothing was stitched on and flat, and the bottom is popped up! love that dimension!

I used Distress Oxide Inks to ink blend the background in Seedless Preserves and Milled Lavendar. then I splattered some water on top!
I colored all of the clouds from Starry Backdrops and glued them to create a 'sky'.

be sure to check this card out on the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog, and to play along with this special challenge! :)
enjoy!

I stamped and colored all of my images from Umbrella Pals and then colored them with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers! once they were dry, I used the coordinating dies to die cut them out! and of course...you know I couldn't resist adding a nod to rainbows with how I colored them! lol!

Isn't that cute Newton's so fun! I love that he's in the pouncing position! so fun!
