Fawny Holiday Week 2019 - Day 3

me again!

I'm so excited for this week on the Lawn Fawn blog - the Fawny Holiday week! 
and I'm lucky enough to be able to participate as part of the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge design team!

today, I have a layout, instead of a card!

soooo sweet, right?
I stamped and colored the reindeer images from Toboggan Together and then fussy cut them out! 
I also used some papers from the Snow Day Remix Petite Paper Pack to back my photo! 

for the background, I used Distress Ink Refills in Twisted Citron, Peacock Feathers and Cracked Pistachio to create a watercolor-ed look! once it was dry, I used some white embossing paste and a star stencil to add a little texture!

I added the title with a mix of alphas, and then machine stitched them onto the layout! then I added some embellishments with some older supplies I had in my stash!

this layout will always make me smile - it's the perfect depiction of my little Menn at this moment in time! even though my older little Mann had so much FUN singing christmas carols and decorating the tree, he was NOT having it when I wanted a picture! ha! (that's the stage he's in...) ha!
and my littlest Mann just looks up to his brother SO MUCH, it's so sweet! so his infections smile and laughter from looking at his brother was PERFECT for the 'spreading Christmas cheer' title! ha!

Newton's Nook Designs November Release - Newton’s Toboggan + coordinating Dies, Mountains Stencil

we're cruising along with Day 2 of Newton's Nook Designs' November release!

this release has totally got me in the mood for snuggling under a blanket with a book! I LOVE this winter release!
oh how I love all of these new stamps, stencils and dies!! just wait until you see it all! but in the mean time, check out what we're working with today: Newton’s Toboggan + coordinating Dies, Mountains Stencil
you can totally create a project life type spread, gift tags and, of course, cards! all of the new sets will be available for purchase on November 15th, right here! 

I can't even begin to tell you all how EXCITED I am for this mountains stencil!!!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!!!! I already created a ton of backgrounds with it!

I stamped and colored this with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then used the coordinating dies to die cut it out!

eeeeep! love that red sled! I used the mountains stencil to create a bunch in the distance! and then I used some white embossing paste to create the snow caps!

I also added some sparkly glitter to the to of this hill, plus puffy little pom-poms to the tops of their hats!!!

Newton's Nook Designs November Release - Snowman Party

hello!

today is day 1 of Newton's Nook Designs' November release!

this release has totally got me in the mood for snuggling under a blanket with a book! I LOVE this winter release!
oh how I love all of these new stamps, stencils and dies!! just wait until you see it all! but in the mean time, check out what we're working with today: Snowman Party (use with Frames Squared Die).
you can totally create a project life type spread, gift tags and, of course, cards! all of the new sets will be available for purchase on November 15th, right here! 

for my card, I used it with the Frames Squared Die Set, which it was made for!

I stamped and colored this with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then used the dark blue background to color in so my sentiment would pop!! and that phrase just cracks me up!

I mostly used yellows and mint colors, but I also threw in some red! lol! and then of course, they have their sweet, red cheeks! ha!

I also used some white embossing paste and the Snowfall Stencil on the white scalloped layer to add a little extra texture! (though it's hard to see in the photos)

Create a Smile Stamps November 2019 Release

hello!!!
who's as excited as I am about this new release from Create a Smile stamps?! there are SO MANY new products, please be sure to check out their Instagram and website for so much more inspiration!!

I created 2 cards for this release!
my first card is my favorite!!
I used the new Mouse au Chocolat - EEEEEEEEE! so cute!

I started by coloring all of the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then fussy cutting them out!
I also used the new Patterns Stencil and some white embossing paste to add to texture and a unique design to the cup! 

I finished the card by adding glitter (Stickles!) to all of the marshmellos and whip cream! 
and the background was created by ink blending Picked Raspberry and Dried Marigold Distress Inks! then I splattered some water and white acrylic paint on top!

my next card also combines a new stamp set and new stencil!
this time I used the new mini but MIGHTY Happy Holidays stamp set!

I stamped it and colored the 'happy' letters with watercolors, then fussy cut them out! then I attached them to the background with foam tape!

and speaking of the background, I did LOTS of ink blending (many layers!) in Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch and Peacock Feathers! then I splattered some water on top! once that was all dry, I used the beautiful new Twinkle Stencil and some white embossing paste to add some sparkly texture!

I finished the card off with some clear sparkling sequins from Pretty Pink Posh!

25 Days of Christmas Tags - Newton's Nook

hi there!

today i'm super excited to be able to join in on the fun with the 25 Days of Christmas Tags event! 

it's all about Newton's Nook today, and i'm so excited to participate as part of the Design Team! this is SUCH a fun part of the holidays for me!

I stamped and colored the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then used the coordinating dies to die cut them out!
I am in LOVE with the Santa Paws Newton stamp set! it's so punny! and it's SO cute!

I used the Pawprint Shaker Die Set to create my shaped tag! so fun!!
I die cut them all out of white cardstock, and then used Vintage Photo and Fossilized Amber to add color to the outside, and Spun Sugar Distress Inks to add color to those little beans! lol! 

lastly, I heat embossed the sentiment and fussy cut around it! ha!! adorable, I know! :P

Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #64 - Cards for Guys

happy Monday!
let's start this week off with a NEW challenge over at the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog!

yay!

I am always happy to stretch my card-making skills with this challenge!! I have a lot of men (and Menn!) in my life, so it's always nice to focus on them for a change! ha!
I had a blast making this card! 

I am just in *LOVE* with this cute little yeti from the new Yeti or Not stamp set! I started by coloring all of the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then fussy cutting them out! 
I added a little bit of dots in the grays (and my white gel pen) to add a little texture to his fur!

then I die cut out several 'hills' with the Stitched Hillside Borders die set to give this snowboarding yeti some fresh powder to ride on! ha!! 
I added the goggles with foam tape! 

for the sky, I did some ink blending with Distress Oxide inks in Abandoned Coral and Dried Marigold! 

and the sentiment was added and totally felt very 'guy' to me! ha!
