well hi there!
happy Saturday - today I have this fun card up on the Butterfly Reflections Ink blog!
hi there!
today I have a card up on the Newton's Nook Designs blog!
I stamped and colored the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers from Stowaway Newton and Newton's Graduation and then used the coordinating dies to die cut them out!
love that graduation cap on newton's head! lol!
the sentiments were heat embossed and then die cut with the Speech Bubbles Die Set and A7 Frames & Banners Die Set!
be sure to check out the card on the Newton's Nook blog if you're feeling extra feisty!
enjoy!
today I have a card up on the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog!
I just love the sketch for this latest challenge, and so I had a blast making this card with that in mind!
so fun!
I used the adorable Toucan Do It stamp set for most of the images! they were all colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and the die cut out with the coordinating dies! the leaves were actually from the Critters in the Jungle stamp set!
I sprinkled the leaves around to mimic the circles in the sketch!
for the background, I masked off both sides, and used Pine Needles, Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron Distress Inks to create the color! then I placed the Tropical Leaves Background Stencils and the same colors, but with more pressure to create the subtle tone-on-tone colors!
I love the pops of red with the flowers!
I heat embossed the sentiment in white inside the ink blended area, and it's a perfect pop!
be sure to play along with the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge this week, too!
enjoy!
happy Monday!

for my card today, I used the absolutely adorable Cosmic Newton Stamps and Dies!
I colored all of the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers! I also added some details with the white gel pen.
for the background, I did some ink blending with Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon and Salvaged Patina, and then used the Cascading Stars stencil and some white embossing paste to add texture!
I also used some white cardstock and vellum, and die cut them with the Sky Borders Die Set! love the soft accents it adds!

yay!
now it's time to show you what I made - a bouquet of candy roses!
these are actually pretty simple treats to create! I used two different sized lollipops to create the two different sized roses (blowpops and dumdums!).
I used red tissue paper to wrap around the top of the lollipop, and and dark teal washi tape to wrap around for the stem!
I heat embossed phrases from Heartfelt Love and Heartfelt Roses. then I die cut out the phrases with the Banner Trio Die Set!
I also die cut out some hearts with white crepe paper and papers from the new Love & Meows paper pad using the Heart Frames Die Set.
I finished by punching a hole into the phrases and hearts and attaching them around the stems of the roses, like tags!
