Heffy Doodle June Guest Designer - Otter Side

hello!
how excited am I to be part of the Heffy Doodle family for the month of June?! I'm back with my 2nd post of the month, and this time, I'm using the otter-ly ADORABLE Otter Side stamp set!

eeeep! otters are definitely in my top 5 favorite and cutest animals ever! and this scene was inspired by the pair of river otters that live in the lake behind my parents house!

I colored all of the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers and then fussy cut them out!
those sweet critters are are clearly enjoy the water on a summer day! and I wish I was there, too! ha!

for the background, I used Distress Inks in Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon and Salvaged Patina for the ocean. then I used Fossilized Amber and Vintage Photo for the beach. then I splattered some ink color and white acrylic ink to create the sandy look.
I also used a dry brush and white acrylic paint and added the texture of the crashing of the waves onto the beach! so FUN!

I used the Stormy Seas Stencil to add the waves! first I used some DecoFoil Duo Gel. then once it was dry, I added Opal foil to make the subtle shimmer for the waves! love that subtle effect! 

lastly, the sentiment was heat embossed in white onto black cardstock and then fussy cut out!

this card makes me so happy when i see it!

Heffy Doodle June Guest Designer - Koality Hugs

how excited am I to be part of the Heffy Doodle family for the month of June?!

I love their sweet, cute images and they adorable and fun sentiments! I could color these images for days!
and my post for today features the cute and cuddle koalas from Koality Hugs!

I colored all of the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers and then fussy cut them out!
these koalas are having the time of their lives with the colorful balloons from Stitched Balloons die set!
the balloons were colored with Distress Oxide inks in basically all my reds and pinks! ha!
I also used the Twinkle Stencil and some glitter paste to add sparkle to those birthday balloons!

for the background,  I used Distress Oxide Inks in Mowed Lawn, Pine Needles and Twisted Citron, with Vintage Photo and Fossilized Amber for the ground! I wanted the background to mimic a forest-y area! I used the Rays the Roof Stencil to add an effect of the sun shining through the leaves!

lastly, the sentiment was heat embossed in white onto black cardstock and then fussy cut out!

I really had a blast making this card!

Heffy Doodle and Newton's Nook Designs Collaboration Blog Hop 2021

hello!

Welcome to the Heffy Doodle and Newton's Nook Designs Collaboration Blog Hop!
Design Team members from both companies are sharing inspiration using products from both companies!

I'm so excited to be participating in the Heffy Doodle and Newton's Nook Designs Collaboration!

I created two cards for this event!
my first one is a Christmas card, because I can't stop making them! lol!

I used the ADORABLE Prehistoric Christmas stamps and dies from Newton's Nook Designs! I colored all of the images in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. to create the background, I die cut out some hills with the Land Borders dies and the Sea Borders dies from white cardstock. then used the Twinkle Twinkle Stencil from Heffy Doodle and some sparkly embossing paste for the sky!

then I die cut out some of the Stitched Dino Print dies and added some light grey shading to the edge of one side of the prints. I also added some chunky glitter in the same area! made me think of footprints in the freshly fallen snow!

 

I love how this card came out, and how the colors pop!

my second card is not Christmas, and it's just as cute!
I used the Fluffy Puffy Unicorn stamps from Heffy Doodle - and I'm in LOVE! sooo cute!

I also used the Slimline Frames & Portholes Dies to make the slimline card!
I did lots of ink blending with Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon and Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Inks and the Clouds Stencil!

I used the sentiment from Believe in Unicorns onto some vellum that was die cut with the Banner Trio Die Set.

lastly, I used the Cascading Stars Stencil with some grey ink on the card base.

Two Many Cards Video Series featuring Heffy Doodle Stamps and Dies + Giveaways!!

I'm SOOOO excited to be a guest with Emily this month on the Two Many Cards Video Series!

what fun!
today we're featuring stamps, dies and stencils from Heffy Doodle!!!

We used the Super Dudes stamps and dies, Cityscape Stencil, Rays the Roof Stencil, Super Cuts, and My Hero Cuts!

I did lots of Distress Ink blending on both cards!

I used translucent embossing paste on the purple, pink and orange background, then sprinkled some clear glitter embossing powder on top! once the paste was dry, I heat sent the glitter powder! and it it's fantastic - because no loose glitter falls off!

and when the light hits it, wow! gorgeous!
all of the images were colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then die cut out!

I did some creative masking with the stencil for my second card - and LOVE it!!

I used Peacock Feathers, Blueprint Sketch and Wilted Violet Distress Inks to create the night sky! and the city underneath is sped safe with that super guy!
I loved every minute I spent making these cards!!
