A Mole Lot of Love Shaker Card

today I'm super excited to share a card I made for Valentine's Day, up on the Lawn Fawn blog!
and bonus: I made a video for this card for you to enjoy too! you can check it out here, or up on my youtube channel!

I'm in love with this card - it's been a hot minute since I've made a shaker card, and it's been a hot minute since I've made a slimline card. today, I combined BOTH with the Large Slimline with Sliders dies! and it was so fun to make!

I started by stamping the images from A Mole Lot of Love, A Mole Lot of Love Add-on, Little Woodland Library and Porcu-pine For You. then I colored the images in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I also added some details with a white gel pen and once everything was dry, I used the coordinating dies to die cut the images out!

for the background, I made my own clouds background stencil! I used the Puffy Cloud Borders to die cut out two edges of white cardstock, and use that as a stencil to create the 'mounds' of dirt for the moles to play in! I used Distress Inks in Ground Espresso, Vintage Photo and Fossilized Amber to ink blend the 'dirt', and then I splattered like no one's business to mimic the look of sand! I used the same Distress Ink colors, as well as some white acrylic ink.

I used a bunch of sequins in various colors and sizes: golds, browns, white seed beads, gold and brown glitter and so much more! lol! I love how the shaker bits look together for this sandy scene!
I attached all of my images with glue and then used two layers of foam tape to pop up the shaker part.

I finished the card off by heat embossing part of the sentiment onto a banner die cut with the Stitched Sentiment Banners from Black Licorice Cardstock.

this card was so much fun to make, and really love how it came out!

hello and happy Wednesday!
today I have this sweet and punny Valentine's Day themed card up on the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog!

the current challenge is all about Valentine's Day and love, and these cute wolves are ready to celebrate!
I started by stamping the images from A Mole Lot of Love, Wild Wolves and Wolves Before 'n Afters. I colored the images in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then added details with a white gel pen.
once everything was dry, I used the coordinating dies to die cut them out.

for the background, I used Seedless Preserves, Picked Raspberry and Dried Marigold for the sky, along with just a kiss of Black Soot along the top.
the grass was die cut from white cardstock with the Stitched Hillside Borders was ink blended with Pine Needles, Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron.

I love the sentiment inside those heart-shaped speech bubbles!
I thought about adding some splatters to the sky to mimic stars, but decided to keep this card simple so the wolves stood out.

Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #213 - Lots of Heart

let's start this week off with a NEW challenge over at the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog!

loving this season of love! lol!

so fun!
I had a blast making this fun Valentine's Day card mixed with old and new products!

I started by stamping the images from Critter Conversation Hearts Add-on, Swan Soiree and Wood You Be Mine? and coloring them in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I also added some details with a white gel pen, and then used the coordinating dies to die cut them out.

 

for the background, I die cut out the scene with the Riverside Backdrop: Portrait from white cardstock. then I used Distress Inks to add color.
for the river, I used Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch and Mermaid Lagoon. for the grass, I used Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn and Pine Needles. then for the sky, I used Uncharted Mariner, Peacock Feathers and Salvaged Patina.
I splattered the same river colors on top of the river to add some sparkly details. I also used the Clouds Background Stencils and some white embossing paste to add a tiny bit of texture to the sky.

the sentiment was heat embossed in white onto Black Licorice cardstock, that I trimmed down into a banner. and then I added the conversation hearts to the 'dam' of trees too! so cute!

Lawn Fawn Lots of Hearts Week 2026

hello!
so happy to be popping in with a mid-month card up on the Lawn Fawn blog, as they celebrate loooooooove this week with the Lots of Hearts celebration! so fun!
and bonus! I made a video, so you can create along with me! :)

I started by stamping the images from the new Valentine Mice, Critter Conversation Hearts, Critter Conversation Hearts Add-on, Love Poems, Bubbles of Joy and You Autumn Know.
you just know I love coloring the mice and I had a ton of fun coloring these images for this fun valentine's day themed card!
I also added some details with a white gel pen, and then used the coordinating dies to die cut the images out, once everything was dry.

for the background, I used the Brick Stencil and Distress Oxide Inks in Candied Apple, Picked Raspberry, Dried Marigold and Tattered Rose. such a pretty color combo, and perfect for this season of love! lol! 

I also splattered all of the ink colors all over the card front too.
I did the same ink blending with the stencil and the flappy mechanism of the die, so the brick would line up when it's pulled out! what fun!

I used the Flippy Flappy die to create the fun interactive element, and to have the mouse pop up with joy! ha! it just cracks me up!
I also die cut the think "LOVE" phrase from the Giant Outlined Love die with Black Licorice Cardstock.

sweet kitty window scene!

today I have this sweet card up on the Newton's Nook Designs blog!
I was inspired by my cats, who are obsessed with looking out all of the windows! lol!

I die cut the cat images from black cardstock with the Cat Silhouettes die set. then I added some foam tape to pop them up.
I used the Frames & Tags die set to create the window, and used a grey cardstock for the frame.
I also did some ink blending in the background of the window to create a pretty sunset scene.
I used Distress Inks in Picked Raspberry and Dried Marigold.

for the curtain, I used some woodgrain vellum an the Land Borders die set to die cut it out! it's so perfect! lol! LOVE it!
I used the bow from the Pines & Holly die set, and die cut it out from some warm pink cardstock.
then I used the banner from the Bookmark die set to frame the sentiment, which is from the Cat-itude stamp set and was heat embossed in white onto the black cardstock.

I finished off the card by placing the entire scene on the gorgeous paper from Love & Meows, which just looks so much like wallpaper for this scene!

so excited to share the first (of many) cards up on the Newton's Nook blog for 2026!
what fun!
and this card is Valentine's Day themed! 

so sweet!
I just love these cute little construction vehicles!
I stamped and colored all of the images and then colored them in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I used images from Love Quarry and Valentine Postage Sampler. 
I also added some details with a white gel pen. and once everything was dry, I used the coordinating dies to die cut them out. 

I die cut out the frame with a warm pink tone of cardstock and white cardstock with the Frames & Tags die set. I used the white dies that were created from the windows and did some ink blending with Lost Shadow Distress Oxide Ink, then I added some texutre with white embossing paste and the Petite Hearts Stencil. 
I also die cut out the dirt piles from white cardstock using the Sky Borders die set. then I did lots of ink blending with Vintage Photo, Walnut Stain and Fossilized Amber. I also splattered some ink color and white acrylic ink on top. 

I love how easy it was to combine the images from both stamp sets! 
I finished off the card by heat embossing the sentiment in white onto black cardstock. and adding just a sprinkling of black splatters in a few corners.

Love You a Mole Lot!

today I am excited to share that I have a card up on the Lawn Fawn blog! and that's not all, I also made a video for this card! what fun!

I was super excited to use the newest release for this card, and I had a BLAST coloring up these little moles!

see? eeeep! adorable!
I stamped the images from A Mole Lot of Love, Critter Conversation Hearts and Little Woodland Library and then colored them in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I also added some details with a white gel pen.
then I used the coordinating dies to die cut them out.

next, I worked on the main part of the card!
I die cut everything out of Vanilla Malt Cardstock with the Platform Pop-up dies. then I did lots of ink blending on top!
I used Fossilized Amber, Vintage Photo and Walnut Stain to ink blend the dirt look. I also spent lots of time splattering! I splattered all of the same ink colors as well as white acrylic ink! LOVE that look!

I also die cut out some of the clouds from the Platform Pop-up Cloud Inserts, and did the same ink blending/splattering to make it look like more dirt piles! what a fun scene!

I couldn't resist adding almost ALL of the moles and worms that I could!
I also heat embossed part of the sentiment in white onto Black Licorice Cardstock.

today I have this fun card up on the Newton's Nook Designs blog!
I love these cute robots!

I stamped the images from Love Bots and colored the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. then I used the coordinating dies to die cut out the images!
I also added some details to the images with a white gel pen.

I ink blended the background with Distress Inks in Picked Raspberry, Abandoned Coral and Dried Marigold. then I splattered the same ink colors, as well as some white acrylic ink on top.
then I die cut out the frame from Frames & Tags die set with white cardstock and popped it up with foam tape.

I also heat embossed the sentiment in white onto some red cardstock. then I die cut it out with the banner from the A7 Frames & Banners die set.
the images were also popped up with foam tape.

today I have a card up on the Lawn Fawn blog, and BONUS I even made a video for this card! you can check it out on my youtube channel or click the link here!

I couldn't resist making this card with a combination of some of the new Valentine's Day release and older sets from Lawn Fawn!

I stamped the images from To A Fungi, Gleeful Gardens and Oh Gnome! I colored the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then die cut them out with the coordinating dies.
I also added a few details with a white gel pen!

I die cut out the leafy vines from the Plant-A-Succulent and the envelopes from the Little Letter die set from white cardstock. then I used Distress Inks in Twisted Citron, Cracked Pistachio and Pine Needles to ink blend the leafs, Picked Raspberry, Dried Marigold, Milled Lavender and Seedless Preserves for the envelopes. I also sprinkled the white acrylic ink on top to add splatters!

I arranged the leaves and mushrooms in the envelopes and attached them to the white woodgrain cardstock. I heat embossed the sentiment in white onto Black Licorice Cardstock and then popped it up with foam tape. I couldn't resist adding that little snail and speech bubbles to the bottom too!!

today I have a sweet card up on the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog!
the current challenge is all about hearts and a beautiful inspiration board! and I was inspired by the top left photo of the tree bark and bright red heart!

so cute!!
I haven't had the chance to use those cute skunks in a while, and I couldn't wait to create with them! I stamped and colored the images from Scent with Love and Scent with Love Add-on using Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. once the images were dry, I added some details with a white gel pen and then used the coordinating dies to die cut them out.

for the background, I used the Paper Bag Cardstock with the Birch Tree Stencils. I used Distress Inks in Walnut Stain, Vintage Photo and Fossilized Amber to ink blend the tone on tone 'forest'.
I used the Stitched Hillside Borders in white cardstock to create the snowy ground for this fun Valentine's Day celebration!

I heat embossed the sentiment in white onto some Guava cardstock and then used Distress Inks in Candied Apple and Picked Raspberry to add a little hint of shading. the skunks were all popped up with foam tape, as was the sentiment banner!

Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #189 - Lots of Hearts

happy Monday!
let's start this week off with a NEW challenge over at the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog!

the challenge this time is so lovely, and sweet and magical!

I was inspired by those gorgeous fireworks to create my card!

 

eeeeeep! so sweet!
first I started by stamping and coloring the images from To My Fungi, Gleeful Gardens and Oh Gnome! once the images were colored and dry, I added some details with a white gel pen. then, I used the coordinating dies to die cut out the images!

 

 

for the background, I started by using Distress Paints in Picked Raspberry, Worn Lipstick and Dried Marigold. I blended them all on a piece of white cardstock. once it was dry, I spread some glitter and star glitter on top randomly. and then, once that was dry, I used the Stitched Sentiment Banners to die cut out as much of the background as I could. so FUN!

then I placed my little gaggle of mushrooms around the banners! they're all so cute! the sentiment was heat embossed in black onto vellum and then die cut with the same
Stitched Sentiment Banners.

I heat embossed the sentiment in black from the Gleeful Gardens set onto Vellum.
