hello!
today I have a card up on the Lawn Fawn blog!
so exciting! and to top it off, I also created a video on how I made this sweet, adorable shadow box card! you can check it out on my YouTube Channel, here!
ok, so let's get to it!
I told you it was adorable! it's hard not to be adorable when you are that CUTE cute little critter!
I started by stamping and coloring the images from I like You A Lotl, Life is Good and Ocean Shell-fie. then I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to color them! once they were all dry, I used the coordinating dies to die cut them out and added a little details with the white gel pen!
for the background, I die cut out the Shadow Box Card Die with Mermaid Cardstock, and then used Distress Inks to add some color! I used Wilted Violet and Mermaid Lagoon. for the sandy bottom of the ocean floor, I used white cardstock and Vintage Photo and Fossilized Amber. I also die cut out some strips with the Stitched Hillside Borders and used the same colors to make the ocean floor.
once it was all assembled, I started adding the images with glue! so fun to create the extended scene!! then I heat embossed the sentiment in white onto a vellum banner that was die cut with the Fancy Wavy Banners dies and glued it to the back!
be sure to check out the card on my YouTube Channel and the Lawn Fawn blog!
enjoy!
