olive you!

hello there!
today I have a card up on the Newton's Nook Designs blog, and it's super cute and super punny! all the things I love! ha!

see? ha! love it!
I mean...olive it! lol!
I used the images from Newton Celebrates and Love Bites stamp sets! I colored them all with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then used their coordinating dies to die cut them out!
they're all so cute, and ready to party!

I loved the idea of combining the olives from Love Bites with the martini image fromNewton Celebrates - it's the perfect combo!
then I heat embossed sentiments from each set again, and die cut them out using the Speech Bubbles Die Set! I added foam tape to the top bubble so it stands out a little, but I really like how they overlap!

to create the background, I used Distress Inks in Mowed Lawn, Black Soot and Twisted Citron to create an ink blended background. then I placed the Cascading Stars stencil on top, and used the same colors (but this time with more pressure!), to add the subtle texture of the stars!! SO fun and festive!
