A Very Fawny Holiday Week 2016 - Day 3

Hi hi hi!
Have I mentioned how much I love Fawny Holiday Week on the Lawn Fawn blog?! It's SO fun and inspirational!!

It's my favorite time of the year, and Lawn Fawn is nice enough to have the Lawnscaping Challenge girls join in on the fun!! Yay!!!!

I created a layout with the very sweet, and super serene Let it Snow stamp set!

I used the trees and stamped them in Cracked Pistachio and Twisted Citron Distress Inks to create a subtle little winter forest behind my photo! I also used the same distress inks to create a watercolor-ed look, too. I stamped the start images in black to add some more whimsy and magic to the 'scene' of my layout! Ha!

I layered my photos with various papers from the Let's Polka collection in pinks and greens, and I also used a tag and doily from my stash! I machine stitched the title on, and then finished off the page with some tiny black splatters and that CUTE flair button!

25 Days of Christmas Tags - Lawn Fawn

hi there!

today i'm super excited to be able to join in on the fun with the 25 Days of Christmas Tags event as part of the Lawnscaping Challenge design team!

it's all about Lawn Fawn today, and i'm just thrilled to be able to share this adorable, snowy little scene with you!

i colored that cute little deer and stack of presents from the Toboggan Together stamp set with Copics! I really love the pops of green and teal on the snow hills!

and speaking of hills...i did LOTS of die cutting on this little tag! the star shape is from the Puffy Star Stackables dies, and that starry background is the Snowy Backdrop die! I also cut a few layers of white cardstock with the Stitched Hillside Borders die to create the hills! the topmost hill is popped up with foam tape!

finally, i used  the Silver Sparkle Cord to add some shine to match the silver glittered stars peeking out of the background!

so make sure you head over to Tracey's blog so you can see all of the fun going on with the 25 Days of Christmas Tags!! :)
