the little moments!
hello again!
today I have another card up on the Newton's Nook Designs blog!
isn't that the sweetest little guy ever?! ha!
I just love how innocent and happy that scene is!
I used the mouse/butterfly image from the Garden Mice stamp set and Newton Scoots By stamp set with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then used the coordinating dies to die cut them out!
I heat embossed the sentiment in white onto a strip of vellum that I cut into the shape of a banner!
for the background, I used a white woodgrain piece of cardstock, then did some Ink Blending with Distress Oxide Inks in Seedless Preserves, Picked Raspberry and Dried Marigold and then splattered some white acrylic ink and water on the background!
I think the clouds really add to the whimsical nature of this card!
be sure to check out the card up on the Newton's Nook Designs blog, too!

hi again!
today I have a card up on the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog - and it's all about the new challenge: Spectacular Skies!
I decided to make the whole card the sky!
I used the Rainbow Die, and added color to each section with Distress Inks, and I even added a little bit of foil and polka dots to some of the rays! just to change things up!
for the background, I did some watercoloring with Distress Inks and then splattered some white acrylic paint on top!
the clouds were stamped from Plane & Simple, and the sun is from Out of this World!
I also die cut out some cloud borders with the Puffy Cloud Borders dies from white cardstock and vellum!
I heat embossed the sentiment from Hello Sunshine in white onto a strip of Black Licorice cardstock!
be sure to play along with the challenge, and you could win some Lawn Fawn-ness!

make a wish - slim line card!
hello!
today I have a card up on the Lawn Fawn blog!
I also created a video tutorial, and you can check it out on my youtube channel!
love it!
The blue cardstock is cut to 3.5x9". and the final card (once it's on the base, etc) is 3.75x9.25" - and it fits perfectly into a standard letter envelope!
I stamped and colored some images from the new Really High Five and Party Animal stamp sets! I colored all of the images in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers, and then used the coordinating dies to die cut them out!
so cute, easy and fun!
I die cut out the balloon from Outside In Stitched Balloon Stackables die set in white cardstock, and then used Distress Inks to ink blend the color!
then I used some gold thread to make the balloon string! I made it nice and long, so that each critter could hang on it!
for the background I used some of the Blue Jay Cardstock, and then used a die cut piece of paper from the Puffy Cloud Borders dies to use as a stencil to create the puffy ideas of clouds in the background! then I splattered some white acrylic paint to emulate stars!
all of the imaged were popped up with foam tape and attached to the card. and lastly, I heat embossed the sentiment onto a vellum banner, that was die cut from the Fancy Wavy Banners!
be sure to check out the card up on the Lawn Fawn blog!
and also, if you're in for a chuckle, check out my youtube video!
enjoy!
