I love you to Pluto and back card!

hello all!
today I have this fun card up on the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog! I CASE-ed this card I made here! I just loved the black gesso and bold colors!

so here's my card!

so fun, right! and there's more! it has a fun surprise inside the card, too! but we'll get to that shortly! ha!
I used some black gesso and painted it onto my background! then I used some white embossing paste a fun star stencil to create the background!

the images from Out of This World were stamped and fussy cut out! I colored everything with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then added some details with a white pen!

and then when you open the card...

ta daaaa!! 
same treatment inside the card as out, but I love that burst of planets with the Mini Pop-Up Box die! 

I finished off the sentiment and then attached it and all the happy planets with strips of acetate to the die! so fun!

today I have this sweet little card up on the Newton's Nook Designs blog!

I totally love the purples and greens together for the background! I think they really make the deer pop!
I colored the images from Deer Friend with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then used the coordinating dies to cut them out! so easy and fun!

I used foam tape to pop up the deers agains the grassy hills! I used Distress Oxide Inks in Twisted Citron and Lucky Clover to ink blend the grass and hills, which were die cut with the Land Borders Die Set!

for the sky, I used Seedless Preserves and Milled Lavender Distress Oxide Inks and ink blended them together. I splattered some water, white acrylic paint and ink color onto everything for some texture! and I finished off the card with some clear sequins!

Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #49 - CASE

happy Monday!
let's start this week off with a NEW challenge over at the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog!

LOVE this idea for a challenge!!!! what FUN! it's so unique and completely inspiring!
I was inspired by the card set that I made *here*, and the image is below:

I used the new Oh Gnome! set along with the older Fairy Friends stamp set for my card for this new challenge!

I colored all of the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then fussy cut them out!
for the background, I used Distress Inks in Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch and Peacock Feathers for some ink blending on the woodgrain background! 

I heat embossed the sentiment in black, onto some vellum and then fussy cut out around the sentiment! 
I also added some glitter to the fairy wings for a little whimsy!

this was so fun to make! 

I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to color the images! I also used some of the small mushrooms from Hedgehog Hollow to add to the scene!

I used one of the squares from the new Frames Squared die set to create the shaker window!

I used Distress Oxide inks to add color to the grass that was die cut with the Land Borders die set, and the clouds from the Sky Borders die set (as well as the background, for the shaker!)!

I added some white glitter to the white parts of the mushrooms! love the glitter!

I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to color the images! I love how you can customize, and differentiate all of the cats! it's SO much fun!

I used Distress Inks in various rainbow colors with a striped stencil for the background! then I splattered some water and ink color on the background, too! so fun!

and you KNOW I had to make it rainbow colored! lol!! and those cute little freckles on the cats are my 'go-to' - I love how cute it is!

I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to color the sweet image in pinks and reds!  then I splattered some white acrylic paint onto the image!

I heat embossed the sentiment into the middle with black ink and clear embossing powder!  I used the new scalloped edge square to create the shaped card!

and I finished off the card with some clear dew drops!

Newton's Nook Designs March Release - Newton’s Birthday Trio and Paw-some Birthday + coordinating Die, Balloons Stencil

my first card uses the cute Newton's Birthday Trio stamp and die set! 

this was so fun to make!

I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to color the images, along with the coordinating dies to die cut it out! 

I used Distress Inks in Dried Marigold and and Picked Raspberries to ink blend the background! then I splattered some water and ink onto it! 

I used the same colors to ink blend on the vellum balloon that I die cut using the Balloon Shaker die set! 

my second card uses the Balloons Stencil as well as the Paw-some Birthday stamp and dies set!

I looooooove how this card came out!

I used Dried Marigold, Mustard Seed and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide Inks to ink blend the square in the background (come back tomorrow to learn more about that!)

I added stickles glitter to each of the presents, as well as the party hat!

and then I used white embossing paste and the stencil to add texture to the background!
