Newton's Nook Designs April Release-Cluck + coordinating Die

hi there!
welcome to day 2 of Newton's Nook Designs April release!

I am super in love with this release, it's FUN and happy and so exciting!
oh how I love all of these new stamps, stencils and dies!! just wait until you see it all! but in the mean time, check out what we're working with today: Cluck + coordinating Die 
you can totally create a project life type spread, gift tags and, of course, cards! all of the new sets will be available for purchase on April 12th, right here! 

my card cracks me up!

all of the sentiments on this set are particularly funny and fun!

this was so fun to make! 

I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to color the images, along with the coordinating dies to die cut it out! 

the bottom part of the card was created with Fossilized Amber and Vintage Photo Distress Oxide inks and the new Hardwood stencil!

then I used the new Speech Bubble Die set to create the top part, which I added color to by ink blending Peacock Feathers and Blueprint Sketch!

I just love those clucking little chickens!

Newton's Nook Designs April Release-Oink + coordinating Die, Fence Die Set, Speech Bubble Die Set, Hardwood Stencil

hello!

today is day 1 of Newton's Nook Designs April release!

I am super in love with this release, it's FUN and happy and so exciting!
oh how I love all of these new stamps, stencils and dies!! just wait until you see it all! but in the mean time, check out what we're working with today: Oink + coordinating Die, Fence Die Set, Speech Bubble Die Set, Hardwood Stencil

my card today combined the Oink stamp/die set, Hardwood Stencil and the Fence Die Set!

this was so fun to make! 

I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to color the images, along with the coordinating dies to die cut it out! 

for the fence, I die cut it out white cardstock, then used the new Hardwood Stencil to add the woodgrain details with Vintage Photo Distress Ink.

then I removed the stencil, and ink blended the same color, but with less pressure, over the rest of the fence!

I created the background by smooching Blueprint Sketch, Peacock Feathers, Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn Distress Inks onto my circle acrylic blog! then I spritzed with a little bit of water and pressed it down to my cardstock!

the balloons are from the Playful Pandas stamps and dies!

Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #50 - Fun with Food

happy Monday!
let's start this week off with a NEW challenge over at the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog!

yay!

this new challenge is so fun and just *perfect* for all of the cute images that Lawn Fawn has!

these little pineapples from the mini Aloha set are just darling! I love them snuggling together! ha!
I stamped the sunglasses on one and then the eyelashes smile on the other! 

I colored all of the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then fussy cut them out! 
the background was ink blended with Peacock Feathers and Blueprint Sketch Distress Inks. I used the folded side of a piece of computer paper to create the edges! such a fun striped background!

then I finished off the card with some clear star sequins!

I love you to Pluto and back card!

hello all!
today I have this fun card up on the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog! I CASE-ed this card I made here! I just loved the black gesso and bold colors!

so here's my card!

so fun, right! and there's more! it has a fun surprise inside the card, too! but we'll get to that shortly! ha!
I used some black gesso and painted it onto my background! then I used some white embossing paste a fun star stencil to create the background!

the images from Out of This World were stamped and fussy cut out! I colored everything with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then added some details with a white pen!

and then when you open the card...

ta daaaa!! 
same treatment inside the card as out, but I love that burst of planets with the Mini Pop-Up Box die! 

I finished off the sentiment and then attached it and all the happy planets with strips of acetate to the die! so fun!

today I have this sweet little card up on the Newton's Nook Designs blog!

I totally love the purples and greens together for the background! I think they really make the deer pop!
I colored the images from Deer Friend with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then used the coordinating dies to cut them out! so easy and fun!

I used foam tape to pop up the deers agains the grassy hills! I used Distress Oxide Inks in Twisted Citron and Lucky Clover to ink blend the grass and hills, which were die cut with the Land Borders Die Set!

for the sky, I used Seedless Preserves and Milled Lavender Distress Oxide Inks and ink blended them together. I splattered some water, white acrylic paint and ink color onto everything for some texture! and I finished off the card with some clear sequins!

Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #49 - CASE

let's start this week off with a NEW challenge over at the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog!

LOVE this idea for a challenge!!!! what FUN! it's so unique and completely inspiring!
I was inspired by the card set that I made *here*, and the image is below:

I used the new Oh Gnome! set along with the older Fairy Friends stamp set for my card for this new challenge!

I colored all of the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then fussy cut them out!
for the background, I used Distress Inks in Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch and Peacock Feathers for some ink blending on the woodgrain background! 

I heat embossed the sentiment in black, onto some vellum and then fussy cut out around the sentiment! 
I also added some glitter to the fairy wings for a little whimsy!
