Newton's Nook Designs July Release - Toucan Party + coordinating dies

hooray for more fun and inspiration with Newton's Nook Designs July release!!

we're continuing on with the July celebration with day 2 of the awesome release! today we're showing off the Toucan Party + coordinating dies!
 you can totally create a project life type spread, gift tags and, of course, cards! all of the new sets will be available for purchase on July 14th, right here!

guys, you know how much i love the other stamps/products that we've shown you so far...but this stamp set is HANDS DOWN my favorite EVER!!!!! i think i made 8 cards with it already, and i don't ever want to stop!!! those birds are just adorable! 

ok, so first, i colored that adorable image with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then used the coordinating dies to cut them out. adorable enough, right?!

then, i used the AMAZING Tropical Leaves Stencil to and some embossing paste to create the white on white look! LOOOOOOOOOOOOVE! 

the sentiment was heat embossed onto some vellum that i colored with Squeezed Lemonade and Mustard Seed Distress Inks! a few sequins finished it off!

for my 2nd card, i couldn't resist guys...you guessed it - RAINBOW!

but it's a subtle rainbow!! so maybe you'll forgive me! ha!

i used Distress Inks in Mermaid Lagoon and Squeezed Lemonade to create the background!

then, i popped up the card front with foam tape and finished the card off with sequins and a pop of the black and white washi! love it!

Newton's Nook Designs July Release - Cocktail Mixer & Stow Away Newton + coordinating Dies

love love love these cards i made!

my first one is features the Cocktail Mixer stamp set and coordinating dies!

and...rainbows! you knew it was going to happen!

I colored all of the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then popped some of them up with foam tape! 

i used a light gray marker to create the subtle watercolor in the background! what's your favorite beach side beverage?

for my 2nd card, i used the Stow Away Newton stamp set - and the new STENCIL!!!!!

guys, seriously, are you still reeling from the news that Newton's Nook is now making their own stencils? i know i am!! I used the new Pawprints stencil along with some white embossing paste! to make it stand out, i outlined part of the stenciled area with a thin black marker!

i LOVE that newton all curled up in the suitcases!! do your pets know when you're leaving and try to stow away? i know my cat is notorious for that!! adorable!

Newton's Nook Designs July Release - Four NEW STENCILS, Sea Borders Die, Winston’s Lake House & Lake Advice + coordinating Die

today kicks off the Newton's Nook Designs June release!!

this is another AMAZING release, and it's EXTRA special because it's all about celebrating Newton's Nook's 4th year!! wow!
hold on to your hats people, today is kicking off this amazing week of celebration with a BRAND NEW PRODUCT!!!!! today we're releasing FOUR STENCILS, the Sea Borders Die, Winston’s Lake House & Lake Advice + coordinating Die!! woah!!! 
 you can totally create a project life type spread, gift tags and, of course, cards! all of the new sets will be available for purchase on July 14th, right here!

guys, i have SO MANY cards from this release, it's insane! but let's start off with the Winston's Lake House:

LOVE it!

I used the adorable cabin image, colored it and the trees with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then popped just the cabin image up with foam tape! 

i blended the yellow sky with Distress Inks in Squeezed Lemonade and Mustard Seed, and the used my Gansai Tambi watercolors to create the lake! LOVE how it came out!

my second card features the Lake Advice stamp set:

this was a pretty simple card to make, but i really really love how it looks!

i did some watercolor at the top of the card with Peacock Feathers and Cracked Pistachio Distress Inks. Once it was dry i stamped the sentiment with the waves image above and the kayak image below!

i colored and fussy cut out the kayak and then machine stitched along the top of the card! love it!

Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #8 - Summertime Fun

yahooo! it's time for a NEW challenge on the block!!! and it's all about LAWN FAWN!!!!!

i'm still SO excited about this newest challenge on the block! SO SO SO excited!
this challenge is AMAZING!!! 

what a fun and perfect challenge for this time of the year!
i couldn't resist making a layout!! i'm sorry if you are a card-only lover!

so fun! my little Menn are obsessed with hockey and play it everyday, in any form! this fun photo was when they were all playing a slip n slide version of hockey in our yard! so fun!

i used the clouds from Plane and Simple and added a little color with some Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers and then sprinkled them along the layout! i used phrases from LOTS of different sets around the hockey stick shaped cut out!

i stitched around the cut out and backed it with some woodgrain paper! oh and the background was made with water and some acrylic paint! lots of fun!
