Coaster Critters!

hello and happy Sunday!
today I have a card up on the Lawn Fawn blog, it's fun and fresh and perfect for that thrill-seeker in your life, and bonus: I have a video, too!

so adorable, right?!
and it's interactive! ha!! the tickets popping up just crack me up!
I stamped all of the images from Coaster Critters, Coaster Critters Flip-Flop and Wheely Great Day and then colored them in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. once they were all dry, I added some details with a white gel pen and then die cut them out with the coordinating dies!

for the background, I used Distress Inks in Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch and Mermaid Lagoon for the sky. for the ground, I used Fossilized Amber and Vintage Photo. then I used the Sunrays Background Stencil and the same colors, but with more pressure, to create the sky. I also used the Cloud Backgrounds Stencils with white paste on top! love combining the two stencils!

I used the Flippy Flappy die set to create the fun interactive portion of this card! and the tickets popping up crack up me up! I also used a few of the images to create a little mini-scene on the pull tab! so adorable!
and this card is just perfect for someone who loves amusement parks!

new home in the city!

hello and happy mid-week wishes to you!
today I have a card up on the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog!

the current challenge is all about City vs Country living! I already had made a card for the country life the day the challenge launched! so this time, I decided to make a city-themed card!

so fun!
I used the images from Happy Village and Village Heroes to create this card! everything was stamped and then colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. then I fussy cut it all out! I also added some details with the white gel pen.

I used Sunray Background Stencil with Distress Inks in Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch and Mermaid Lagoon. then the same colors for the background.
I love how it looks like the sun is coming up from the city!

I used Distress Oxide Inks in Black Soot and Lost Shadow to color the streets, which were die cut with the Stitched Hillside Borders dies from white cardstock. I also splattered some water, white acrylic ink and the same Distress Oxide Ink colors to add texture!
I popped up the card, speech bubble and sun/cloud image with foam tape!

Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #147 - Create a Scene: City v Country

happy Monday!
let's start this week off with a NEW challenge over at the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog!

yay!

 

 

this challenge is a new one for me, and what fun!
I decided to start with a country scene and these cute little goats!

I stamped and colored the images from All Star and You Goat This with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, then die cut them out with the coordinating dies!  then I added some white gel pen details to the images, too! just to add to the cuteness!

 

 

 

I used Distress Inks in Abandoned Coral, Picked Raspberry and Dried Marigold for the background. then I used the Sunrays Background Stencil with the same colors, but more pressure, to add the tone-on-tone colors!
once that was done, I used some white stencil paste and the Clouds Background Stencils to add some texture to the sky! 

 

I finished by heat embossing the sentiment in white onto black cardstock and then popping it up with foam tape!

Create a Smile Stamps - April 2023 Release

hi there!
today I'm so excited to share my cards for the Create a Smile stamps April 2023 release!
all of the sets are so cute and fun and you can see them all here!

my first card uses the new Dream Big stamp set!

it's so dreamy and beautiful and the combinations you can create are endless! wow!
I used the moon image as my main dream catcher image! and then I couldn't help but color all of the beads and feathers in a rainbow pattern! of course!

for the background, I used Distress Inks in Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon and Salvaged Patina with some ink blending. then I used the same colors and added some watercolor texture on top! I think it adds a very whimsical and dream-like feel!

I heat embossed the sentiment in white on black cardstock and then fussy cut out around it! I also popped it up for some dimension.

my next card uses the suuuuuuuper cute Whaley Great stamp set!

this set is so cute and adorable and I think it just might be my favorite under water ocean critter set ever! adorable!

I colored all of these images in with Copic Markers and then fussy cut them out! I also added some details with a white gel pen!

I used Distress Inks in Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon and Salvaged Patina along the edge of a card front. then I splattered some white acrylic ink on top. I popped up some of the critters with foam tape and then tore the edge of my card front and popped that up with foam tape!

I finished off the card with some sequins in the water!

birthday bash!

hi there!
today I have a card up on the Newton's Nook blog, and it's for a very happy birthday! lol!

I decided to go kind of monochromatic, too!! LOVE those warm pinks!
I stamped and colored the images from Newton's Birthday Bash with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then fussy cut them out.
and I couldn't stop myself from adding those cute tiger stripes to one of the kitties! lol!

I used Distress Inks in Abandoned Coral, Picked Raspberry and Dried Marigold for the background. first, I used just the inks to just blend an ombre background. then I used the Bokeh Balloons Stencil Set with the same colors, but with more pressure to add the tone on tone effect!

I heat embossed the sentiment from Heartfelt Meows in white onto some vellum. then I used the Banner Trio Die Set to die cut it out!

Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #146 - Color Inspiration

let's start this week off with a NEW challenge over at the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog!

this is such a fun challenge - I love color inspirations!! and these colors are magical, whimsical and wonderful!!

what fun, right? lol!
I loooooove this card!

I used the Corner Rainbow Stencils with many many distress inks! ha!
for the top rainbow I used Seedless Preserves, Picked Raspberry, Wilted Violet, Abandoned Coral, Saltwater Taffy, Dried Marigold and Squeezed Lemonade.

for the bottom rainbows, I used Uncharted Mariner, Mermaid Lagoon, Peacock Feathers, Salvaged Patina and Squeezed Lemonade. and then to add some extra texture to the card, I used white embossing paste and the Clouds Background Stencils! love that! 

I finished by heat embossing the sentiment in black from the All the Clouds stamp set onto some vellum. then I die cut it out with the Outside In Stitched Cloud Stackables!
I popped up the panel with foam tape, and then placed it on top of the some Fog Cardstock.
