welcome to day 2 of the April release for Newton's Nook Designs!
oh
how I love all of these new stamps, dies and stencil! just wait until
you see it all! I'm swooning!
It's been so long since I made a wedding card! and honestly, I'm not that great at it! ha!
but I do like how this card turned out! I used some black gesso and a dry brush to add the bold background! then I die cut out a vellum circle using the Circle Frames Die Set and then crumpled it up for texture!
I heat embossed part of the sentiment onto a pink banner that was die cut using the Banner Trio Die Set!
I finished off the card with a bunch of sequins...because wedding! lol!
Would you like to win the “Destination Love” or the “Lilac” Stamp Set? We will choose ONE lucky winner for each stamp set!

my first card uses the super pretty new Lilac stamp set and dies!
I
stamped and colored the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers
and then I used the coordinating dies to die cut them out! those lilac images are so pretty! I couldn't resist a bunch of different purples!
for the background, I used Distress Oxide Inks in Chipped Sapphire, Seedless Preserves and Milled Lavender. then I splattered some water and white acrylic ink on top of the stamped images and background!
I finished off the card by heat embossing the sentiments in white onto black cardstock
my second card uses the new Destination Love stamps and dies!
