Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #181 - Awesome Autumn

happy Monday!
let's start this week off with a NEW challenge over at the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog!

yay!    

my favorite time of year and my favorite challenge site!

there's nothing more cozy, than a fall-themed challenge! and I LOVE this theme!

I stamped the images from You Autumn Know, Let's Go Nuts and A Bug Deal. then I colored them in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then used the coordinating dies to die cut them out. I also added some details with a white gel pen. I had originally decided to mix the colors of the leaves on each branch, but then I decided to color match the leaves to the background blending! 

 

 

and speaking of blending! I used Distress Oxide Inks in Candied Apple, Abandoned Coral, Picked Raspberries and Squeezed Lemonade. I love those colors for fall!

 

once the leaves were added to the branches, I used the Fall Leaves Background Stencils and some white embossing paste to add some texture and fun details to the cluster of leaves! so fun!

   
the sentiment was heat embossed in white onto Black Licorice Cardstock and then cut into a strip.

Newton's Nook Designs Fall & Halloween Release - Leaf Splendor Stamp Set + Coordinating Die Set, Autumn Meows Paper Pad, Autumn Woofs Paper Pad

I can't believe it's already the last day of the Newton's Nook Designs September release!

and sooooo versatile!

my first card uses the the beautiful and wonderous Leaf Splendor stamp set!

I stamped and colored the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers.
once it was dry, I splattered some white acrylic ink and gold spray on top. then I die cut out the leaves with the coordinating dies.

for the background, I used the Tree Rings Stencil and Distress Inks in Vintage Photo and Walnut Stain Distress Inks. I also splattered some gold ink on top of the background! then I die cut it with the Frames & Flags die set.

I heat embossed the sentiment in white onto black cardstock, and then die cut it out! 

my second card uses the new Leaf Splendor die set and Autumn Woofs Paper Pad!

I love that cute paper!!
I used the A2 Card Layout 2 die set and die cut it out with black cardstock.
then I heat embossed the leaf images in white onto vellum. I die cut them out and attached them to the frame, over the puppy paper!

 

 

I heat embossed the sentiment from Fall Harvest stamp set onto a circle of patterned paper that was die cut using the Circle Frames Die Set.

this just may be one of my favorite sets!! I was going to make a bookmark, but then couldn't resist making a fun card for my reading bestie!

I stamped and colored the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers.
I couldn't help but color it all in with a pinky, purply and orangey color scheme! LOVE those colors for fall! once the watercoloring was dry, I added some details with a white gel pen.

I die cut out the card front with the Basic Frames Die Set from white cardstock. then I used the Clouds Stencil and Distress Inks in Seedless Preserves, Picked Rapsberry, Dried Marigold and Seedless Preserves. soooo whimsical! 

I heat embossed the sentiment in white onto the background. and then I placed the whole thing onto a light beige cardbase.

I made an adorably cute and spooky bookmark!

I die cut the bookmark using the Bookmark II dies from white cardstock. and then I used the Starfield Stencil and Distress Oxide Inks in Chipped Sapphire, Seedless Preserves and Milled Lavender.
I then used some translucent paste on top. 

once it was dry, I used Black Soot Distress Ink over the entire rest of the bookmark.

I stamped the ghost images two times and then colored the images in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers once it was all dry, I used the coordinating dies to die cut them out.

I also fussy cut out some of the extra ghosts and added them around the rest of the bookmark! so fun!

 

I heat embossed the sentiment in white and then used the same blue/purple distress inks around the sentiment.  

so cute!

my first card uses the new Trick or Treat Newton stamp set:

first, I stamped and colored the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. then I die cut them out with their coordinating dies! look how cute!!! I love ALLLLL of these kitties in costumes!

I used Distress Oxide Inks in Chipped Sapphire, Seedless Preserves and Milled Lavender for the background. then added some white embossing paste and the Spooky Line Stencil for the sweet, texture!

my next card uses the new Trick or Treat Puppy!

 

 

again, the images were all colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then die cut out.
I used Distress Inks in Candied Apple, Abandoned Coral, Dried Marigold and Squeezed Lemonade. then I used the same colors, but with more pressure with the Sunscape Stencil. then I splattered the background with white acrylic paint.

the sentiment was heat embossed in white onto black cardstock and then popped up with foam tape. these puppies are soooo adorable!

and guess, what?! I have more cards!

my next card uses the new Haunted House Die Set and Halloween Party Paper Pad.

I die cut out house from white cardstock and then used Seedless Preserves, Picked Raspberry Dried Marigold. I backed the windows with Squeezed Lemonade and glitter! 

the ghost paper was die cut with Frames and Flags and then a layer of vellum die cut, as well.
I die cut the banner with the same die and used the Essential Alphabet die set to make the punny sentiment! 

my last card uses the new Spooky Sky die set - and I LOOOOOOOVE it!!!

swoon!! everything was die cut with white cardstock. then I used Distress Oxide Inks in Seedless Preserves and Milled Lavendar for the clouds. I used Mustard Seed and Squeezed Lemonade.
I also added glitter to the moon and stars for some extra shine!

I did some hot foiling with the Spooky Sentiments Hot Foil Plates in gold onto vellum.

I watercolored the background in pinks and yellows for a magical vibe! I finished the vibe with some white embossing paste and the Flying Bats stencil.
