hello!!
today I have this card up on the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog!
we're still all about creating the interactive cards, and today is no different!
I used the Let's Toast Pull Tab Add-on to create a fun, birthday scene!
love it!
it's so fun and colorful - my favorite things! ha!
I stamped and colored those adorable pterodactyl and volcano images from Rawrsome and then popped them up with foam tape!
surprise!! those balloons pull up, and I freaking love it!! it's like a lava birthday balloon eruption of fun! ha!
I stamped the balloons from Really High Five!
I used Distress Oxide inks to ink blend this scene! I used Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch and Mermaid Lagoon for the sky! for the ground, I used Vintage Photo and Fossilized Amber! then I splattered water and ink color onto the ground/hills to add the texture!
lastly, I used the Fancy Wavy Banners for the sentiment! I heat embossed the sentiment in white and then attached it to the card! so cute!
be sure to check the card up on the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog and play along!
enjoy!

let's start this week off with a NEW challenge over at the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog!
woo-hoooo!
how adorable is this challenge! it's everything I love: Lawn Fawn, beaches and those colors - swoon!!!! loooooooving this challenge!
for my card, I went interactive!
I am in LOOOOOOVE with how this turned out!! to start I did lots of ink blending with Distress Inks!
I used Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon, Peacock Feathers and Cracked Pistachio for the ocean, and then Vintage Photo and Fossilized Amber for the sand!
I also added some 'foam' to the sea (a la Kelly Latevola, check out her video here!) with a dry, firm paint brush and some white acrylic paint!
the little love birds were stamped and combined using Mermaid for You and Screen Time stamp sets! eeeeep! I really think they came out so great!
and then the dolphin from Critters in the Sea, is jumping for joy with the assist from the Let's Toast Pull Tab Add-On die set!! eeeeep!!
and of course, I had to finish off the card with a custom sentiment using my all time fave: Harold's ABC's!
oh, forgot to mention, all of the images were colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then fussy cut out!

I used the adooooooorable I Love You(calyptus) mini stamp set along with the new Let's Toast Pull Tab Add-On die! surprise!!
so cute, right?!
eeeep! I just love it!
the background was created by Distress Ink blending with Picked Raspberries, Worn Lipstick and Dried Marigold! love the warm, pinks and oranges!!
I used the clouds from the Puffy Cloud Borders Die to add to the whimsy! and the balloons were attached to the koala (so they move up and down, too!!) with a strip of acetate!

create a smile - a peek at the august release!
hello hello!!
today, i have a card on the create a smile blog showcasing a card made with the newest release (available at the end of the week, here!)
it's so exciting!!!
i decided to make a pull/slider card!
i don't know the exact name of the type of card i made...but i DO know, it took me MUCH longer than it should have to create! ha ha!
ok, so here's the card:
i just LOVE that chameleon image!
i stamped him onto some acetate and the patterned paper. then i used my craft knife to cut around the image on the patterned paper and adhered the acetate to the back of the panel.
you can pull the sentiment and it changes the color of the chameleon to the whole spectrum of the rainbow! LOVE it!! i mean, i love anything rainbow, so of course, it's fun to me! ha ha! i created the rainbow pull tab panel thing, with lots of distress paints and water and watercolor paper! lol! it's SUPER vibrant! :D
i finished the card off with lots of sequins, paint splatters and enamel dots in various clear and greys. i really wanted all of the colors of the chameleon to pop and stand out!
there's a little video of the card on the create a smile blog - check it out and see a little peek of what else you'll find in this release!
