well hello there!
today I have a card up on the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog, and it's all about that coffee, tea and treats! who can complain? LOL
I used the mice images from the Bubbles of Joy and Virtual Friends stamp sets. those mice are so cute and playful!
then I stamped the to go coffee cups from Love You a Latte and colored all of the images in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. once everything was dry, I used the coordinating die cuts to die cut everything out! so easy!
next, I used Distress Inks in Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon and Salvaged Patina to ink ink blend the background. I actually resisted splattered on it! I know - a miracle! lol! instead, I used the Snowflake Background Stencils and some white embossing paste to add the winter-y texture! once that was dry, I was able to start my scene!
I placed the coffee cups in a nod to rainbow order, and then scattered the playful, silly mice all around the cups. the whispy, steamy sentiment from Love You a Latte was heat embossed in white directly onto the background. then I placed another sentiment from Ho-Ho-Holidays on the bottom of the scene, which was heat embossed in white onto strips of cardstock.
