Newton's Nook Designs Holiday Release - Snow Much Cheer & Newton’s Stocking + coordinating Dies, Meowy Christmas Paper Pad

get ready for the some christmas cheer and festive fun inspiration!

oh how I love all of these new stamps, stencils and dies!! just wait until you see it all! I'm swooning!

that's right...a PAPER PAD!!!!

I am totally feeling the christmas-vibes with these new products!
(especially those papers - which you'll be seeing more of throughout the week!)
my first project is a scrapbook page featuring some of the new papers!

I did some watercoloring on my background, and then once it was dry, I used the Reindeer Stencil and some white embossing paste to add texture! love that look! part of the sentiment was created with the Holiday Greetings Die Set, and the other part was die cut out with the Essential Alphabet Die Set!

those red polka dotted letters are just the best! and the reds and greens of these papers are so bright and vibrant!

my next project uses the new Snow Much Cheer stamp set!

I stamped and colored the image with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then used the coordinating dies to die cut them out! and you know I had to give that cute little guy a string of rainbow lights! ha!

 

 

I heat embossed the sentiment onto a strip of light blue cardstock! love the contrast of those colors! swoon!

for the background, I used Distress Oxide Inks in Abanonded Coral and Dried Marigold! then I heat embossed the snowflakes in white where the ink blending was, but on the bottom, I stamped the snowflakes in the lightest color! what a fun look!

and my last card of the day, you guessed it! it's all about Newton!

 

he's so cute! and this time, he brought a friend! I stamped the paw print from the image onto the stocking to add a patterned look! while I stamped the sentiment on top of the other stocking!

I used the Holiday Foliage stencil (and some selective masking!) to create the background! once the cute little pine boughs were stenciled, I used the same colors (Distress Inks Mowed Lawn, Twisted Citron and Pine Needles) and ink blended behind them! 

whew!
