a cute Christmas hello

hello and happy day!
today I have a card up on the Newton's Nook blog, and it's a cute little, Christmas hello!

see?

adorable! ha! I colored that cute image from the A Kitten Christmas stamp set with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, and then die cut it out with the coordinating dies! I super love that pop of red with his hat!

the background of the card is beautiful argyle paper from the new Meowy Christmas Paper Pad, and I used Distress Inks in Pine Needles, Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron. then I splattered water and white acrylic ink on top!  then I used the Heart Frames Die Set to die cut out the heart shape!
I heat embossed the sentiment in white onto some black cardstock that I die cut with the Banners Trio Die Set.

I finished off the card with the adorable holly image that was die cut from white cardstock with the Pines & Holly Die Set! and I added color with Distress Inks!
