Newton's Nook Designs Winter Release - Snow Flurries Toner Card Fronts, Snowfall Die Set and Let it Snow Die Set

and sooooo versatile!

my first card both, the new toner card fronts and one of the new die sets!

I love the warm, dark pinks and whites of this card - reminds me of peppermint! so fun!
I used some warm pink with one of the toner card fronts for the background. I also used some of the new paper from the Snow Flurries paper pad!
I die cut out the petite, light grey snowflakes (as well as some white cardstock) with the Basic Frames die set for lots of layering!

then I sprinkled on some tiny, tiny white pom-poms to mimic snowballs all over! I also tied some red and white striped twine on top in a bow! (just like some packaging!)

the sentiment was die cut from white cardstock and then, I did some ink blending with Saltwater Taffy and Abandoned Coral!
love how this came out - it's so fun!

my next card uses the new toner sheets, too! and this time pairs it with the new Snowfall Die set! swoon!

LOOOOOOVE this one!
I used some shattered foil in blues, purples and teals for the background! so gorgeous!

then, I die cut out the snowflakes 3 times each from white cardstock. and then I used a sewing machine to stitch them together down the middle.

the sentiment was heat embossed in white from the new Christmas Greetings stamp set onto black cardstock and then popped up with foam tape.

Newton's Nook Designs Winter Release - Snowman Postage Sampler Stamp Set + Coordinating Die, Snow Flurries Paper Pad

my first card both, the new stamp set and the new paper!

sooooo sweet, right?
I am in LOOOOOVE with the blues and purples of the new paper pad!
I stamped the images and then colored them with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. then I added some details with a white gel pen and then die cut them out.

I wanted the card to mimic a snowglobe scene. so I used the Circle Frames Die Set and die cut out the patterned paper. then I die cut out some snowy hills with the Land Borders die set.

my next card uses the new Snowman Postage Sampler set with the Postage Stamp Layout die set.

 

LOOOOOOVE this one!
I stamped and colored the images with Zig Clean Clear Real Brush Markers again, and also added some details in a white gel pen.
then I die cut them out, and set them aside.

I used some black carstock as the card front, and with some white embossing paste, I added the details with the Petite Snow Stencil.
then I die cut out another piece of black cardstock with the Postage Stamp Layout die.

I die cut out the pines and bow from the Pines & Holly die set using white cardstock. then I used Distress Inks in Pine Needles, Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron for the pine, an Abandoned Coral and Dried Marigold for the bow. LOVE the pops of color against the black!

the sentiment is from the new stamp set too, and was heat embossed in white onto black cardstock and then die cut out.

foxy christmas tags!

hello!
today is a fun day - it's part of Lawn Fawn's Fawny Holiday celebration!

I have these tags up on the Lawn Fawn blog, and guess what?! I also have a video to go along with the fun! you can watch it here or on my youtube channel!

I started by die cutting out about 1000 leaves from the Stitched Leaves die set from white cardstock.
I also die cut 3 of the Giant Be Merry phrases, foxes from the Build-a-Fox set, multiple flowers from the Stitched Poinsettias set and even a few winter-wear items from the Build-a-Critter Winter Accessories set!
whew!
so much die cutting!

next, it's on to ink blending!!
I did a lot of that too!!
I used Pine Needles, Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron for the leaves. I used Picked Raspberry and Dried Marigold for the 'be merry' phrase, as well as for the scarf. I used Carved Pumpkin, Dried Marigold and Antique Linen for the foxes. I also used Abandoned Coral, Festive Berries and Vintage Photo for the hoodie.

for the poinsettia flowers, I used Saltwater Taffy, Picked Raspberry, Abandoned Coral, Dried Marigold and Festive Berries in a variety of combinations.

I die cut out the circles from acetate using the Circle Stackables. then I layered the leaves around part of the acetate circles to create some 3/4 wreathes and one full wreath. I also popped up the foxes for some dimension on the tags. then I used a hole punch and some Silver Sparkle Single Cord as the tag string!

a very mice winter!

hello!
today I have a fun card up on the Lawn Fawn blog using some new and old products! :D

yahooooo!
I'm in love with how this card came out!
I stamped the images from Caroling Mice and Snowball Fight. then I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to color them in. once they were dry, I added some details with a white gel pen, and then used the coordinating dies to die cut them out. so sweet!

to create the interactive card, I used the, always fun, Ta-Da! Diorama! I looooooove this die set!
I also used the Ta-Da! Diorama! Hillside Inserts for the snowy hills inside.
I die cut out the pieces of the card with papers from the Let it Shine Starry Skies and Really Rainbow Petite Paper Pads. what a fun combination!! I love the sine of the gold stars and the pop of the bright rainbow together! soooo sweet!

I added some of the flying snowballs with acetate - it's such a fun way to add dimension and interest to the scene inside!! they're flying through the air, literally! ha!

I also decorated the outside of the card - to bring the outside, in!
these mice work so well together from both sets and I love that front of the card can embellished too! and it opens up into the wonderful world of more mice and snow fun!

the sentiment was heat embossed in white onto black cardstock, and then die cut with the Stitched Sentiment Banners die set.

a pretty poinsettia foil christmas

hello!
today I have this card up on the Newton's Nook Designs blog!
I used the new Tis the Season Toner Card Fronts! so fun!

I started by foiling the poinsettia's in a variety of pinks and reds. then I fussy cut them out! it was so easy and fun!
then I used some white acrylic ink and splattered it on top of the flowers. (I couldn't stop myself, but it's such a fun way to add a little bit of snow-like texture!)

once the foiled poinsettia images were arranged on my card, I attached them with glue. then I used Distress Inks in Abandoned Coral, Picked Raspberry and Dried Marigold to add color to the die cut sentiment from Merriest Christmas. then I placed the words over white cardstock to mimic the white around the flowers.

I finished the card off with a sprinkling of sequins.
LOVE this beautiful foiled card - but it's super hard to photograph! lol!

Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #208 - Holiday Old & New

happy Monday!
let's start this week off with a NEW challenge over at the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog!

this challenge really stretched my skills! lol
for some reason, it was a struggle!

what a fun theme! I love mixing and matching stamp sets and this card was a blast to make!

I stamped and colored the images from Caroling Mice, Cheesy Christmas and All the Speech Bubbles with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. then I added some details with a white gel pen and used the coordinating dies to die cut them out.

for the background, I used the Brick Stencil and Distress Oxide Inks in Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon and Cracked Pistachio. LOVE that color combo! it really helps the festive images pop!
I loved continuing the punny and festive theme with the little speech bubbles! lol

the main sentiment was heat embossed in white onto Black Cardstock and then die cut out with the Fancy Wavy Banners.
