ok, let's get onto my card!
I used these amazing and CUTE and fun images from Waffle Flower Stamps The SEAson stamp set!

so cute!

I colored all of the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, and then fussy cut them out! 

I used Distress Inks in Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon and Salvaged Patina to ink blend color on the ocean background. then I splattered some water, and used the Starry Night Stencil from Lawn Fawn to add texture with white embossing paste.

I heat embossed the sentiment with white onto black cardstock and then fussy cut around it.

Butterfly Reflections Ink Blog Hop for Vanessa!

hello everyone!

as you may or may not know, Vanessa, the owner of Butterfly Reflections Ink, is starting radiation today for a tumor in her brain!
we wanted to get a few of the team together show our support with a blog hop and to give her alllllll the encouragement we can!!

most importantly...be sure to wish Vanessa good luck and good vibes as she begins this necessary, scary and brave journey!

for my card, I used Crafty Friends by Paperie Ink for those cute cute cute critters!

I colored all of the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then fussy cut them out! of course, since the card was for Vanessa, I had to use tooooooons of purples! ha!

I used some Fog Cardstock for the base. and then ink blended with Distress Oxide Inks in Seedless Preserves and Milled Lavender on most of the card. then I used the Carta Bella Pumpkin Spice Stencil with the same colors to add some texture!

then I die cut out the big phrase with the Giant Sending Big Hugs die from Lawn Fawn in white, and popped it up with foam tape!
I finished the card off with some sequins and that's the card!

hello and happy Monday!
today I have this fun card up on the Newton's Nook Designs blog!

doesn't that pug just crack you up?! I love that he's looking over his shoulder like he's sooooo inconvenienced! lol! hilarious!
I started by coloring the pug from Pug Hugs and hat from Newton's Christmas Kittens with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then used the coordinating die sets to cut them out!

for the background, I used Distress Inks in Mermaid Lagoon, Blueprint Sketch and Salvaged Patina to ink blend! then I used the Lights Sting Stencil Set!

I used Shattered Glass Gold Foil for the lights, and white embossing paste for the string portion! I also added a little puffy ball on the santa hat!

lastly, I used the Essential Alphabet Die Set to create that custom phrase! so fun!

Lawn Fawnatics Challenge 114 - Sketch

happy Monday!
let's start this week off with a NEW challenge over at the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog!

yay! 

this sketch is so fun, and super versatile!
instead of stars, I decided to use reindeer repeated in my background! 

 

 

I stamped the reindeer from Ho-Ho-Holidays and colored them all in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I even made sure to color one of the noses red! then I used Glossy Accents on top of the red nose, for a little extra shine!  

 

 

I used Distress Oxide Inks in Chipped Sapphire, Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon and Twisted Citron over white cardstock. then I used the water and white acrylic ink to add some snowy texture.

 

lastly, I heat embossed in white, onto some Black Licorice Cardstock. it's from the Toboggan Together stamp set!
then I fussy cut it out, added foam tape, and then layered it on top of a strip of vellum.

for my card, I used the super cute and winter-magic-y Poinsettia Blooms stamps and dies!

I colored all of the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, then I used the coordinating dies to die cut them out! I think the mice are just soooo sweet and I love how you can color the images in almost any color combo! i went for reds, corals and pinks! and kept the thorny leaves a neutral, almost light gold!

 

I used the Music Stencil and some sparkly clear embossing paste to add subtle texture to the background! then I splattered the light grey cardstock with white acrylic paint! (I also splattered white acrylic paint on all of the images I colored and die cut!

lastly, I heat embossed the sentiment from Sentiments of the Season, in white onto some vellum, and then fussy cut it out! I attached it to the card with foam tape!
