Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #73 - Birthday, Lawn Fawn is 10!

happy Monday!
let's start this week off with a NEW challenge over at the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog!

yay!

Lawn Fawn is celebrating turning 10 years old!!!!
I can't believe it's been 10 years!! and I'm so excited to help celebrate with this new challenge!
I used the super cute Year Seven stamp set along with a few new and old products! 

I started by coloring all of the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then fussy cutting them out! I also stamped the tiny speech bubble and tree base from the new A Bug Deal stamp set!
I also die cut out a tree canopy with the Puffy Cloud Borders dies! then I used Distress Inks in Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn! then I splattered some color on top to add texture to resemble leaves! 

love that texture! 

for the sky, I used Distress Inks in Black Soot, Chipped Sapphire, Blueprint Sketch and Peacock Feathers! then I splattered some water and white acrylic paint on top!

Two Many Cards Video Series featuring Spellbinders + Giveaway!

we took a little break, but we're back!

today we're featuring stamps from the beautifully illustrated Spellbinders!

we used the new Large Die of the Month - Basket of Bunnies!
it is so cute and so fun to work with!
I made a 3D Gift Bag/Basket and a card!

the bunnies were die cut with some white flock that I adhered with the Deco Foil Transfer Gel Duo, so they're extra fuzzy!
and I used a bunch of the leaves that I ink blended with Distress Inks (Twisted Citron, Peacock Feathers, Cracked Pistachio and Squeezed Lemonade), foil and polka-dotted washi! 
I love the dimension of the bouquet that little bunny is bring to his parent bunny! lol! so sweet!

the basket was super fun to make! 
again, I used lot sod the foiled leaves, polka dotted-washi tape leaves and ink blended leaves! plus a few flowers for a pop of bright color!

I love that basket and the bright colors!
The basket was distress ink blended with Vintage Photo Distress Ink, and then I added the little sentiment strip from Lawn Fawn's Easter Party stamp set!
the leaves were foiled with some Deco Foil Transfer Gel Duo and Spring Green and Shattered Glass Gold foil!

today I have this fun, St Patrick's Day themed-friendship card up on the Newton's Nook Designs blog!

I used the adorable Newton's Pot of Gold for my card! I stamped out the image and then colored it with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, then fussy cut it out!

for the background, I used a (literal) rainbow of colors and did some ink blending!
I used a folded sheet of computer paper, held it at an angle on my card base, and then did some easy ink blending with the colors!

I applied more pressure towards the folded piece of paper, to make it a little darker! then I splattered some water and colored ink, too!

the sentiment was heat embossed in white and then fussy cut out, too! everything on the card was popped up with foam tape!

really high five birthday card + video

hello!!
today I have this card up on the Lawn Fawn blog!
I am always so giddy and happy to have a card up on Lawn Fawn blog, and today is no different!

oh, and I made a video, so check it out on youtube!

ok, so I used the new Really High Five stamps and dies, as well as the older A Birdie Told Me stamp set!
all of the images were colored with Zig Clean Clear Real Brush markers! love those for giving a little watercolor look!

I also die cut out some clouds using the Puffy Cloud Borders and Stitched Hillside Borders! I used Distress Inks in Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron for the grass and Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch and Peacock Feathers for the sky! then I splattered some water and color onto everything! 

I love these party animals and how excited and happy they are!

Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #72 - Inspired by a Movie, Book or Song!

let's start this week off with a NEW challenge over at the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog!

this is probably the most FUN challenge idea, ever! I had so many ideas in my head, and I finally settled on my very first favorite ANYTHING: the Little Mermaid! 

love it!
I focused on the part in the movie when Sebastian conducts all of the under the water critters to sing Under the Sea! loooove it!
I used images from Mermaid for You, Fintastic Friends, Ahoy Matey and Critter Concert! they were all colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then fussy cut them out! 

for the background, I die cut out a bunch of layers using the Stitched Wave Borders and Stitched Hillside Borders dies, then distress ink blended all the days! ha!

I used Black Soot, Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch, Peacock Feathers and Cracked Pistachio, then splattered water and white acrylic paint onto all of the panels!
