hello and happy Wednesday!
today I have this sweet and punny Valentine's Day themed card up on the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog!
the current challenge is all about Valentine's Day and love, and these cute wolves are ready to celebrate!
I started by stamping the images from A Mole Lot of Love, Wild Wolves and Wolves Before 'n Afters. I colored the images in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then added details with a white gel pen.
once everything was dry, I used the coordinating dies to die cut them out.
for the background, I used Seedless Preserves, Picked Raspberry and Dried Marigold for the sky, along with just a kiss of Black Soot along the top.
the grass was die cut from white cardstock with the Stitched Hillside Borders was ink blended with Pine Needles, Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron.
I love the sentiment inside those heart-shaped speech bubbles!
I thought about adding some splatters to the sky to mimic stars, but decided to keep this card simple so the wolves stood out.
