boo! it's time for the
Newton's Nook Designs' August release!

get ready for the some halloween fun and crisp air, fall leaves and gorgeous gourds!

oh how I love all of these new stamps, stencils and dies!! just wait until you see it all! I'm swooning!
but in the mean time, check out what we're working with today:
Brooms & Boos + coordinating Dies,  Candy Corn Stencil!

you can totally create a project life type spread, gift tags and, of course, cards! all of the new sets will be available for purchase on August 20th, right here

I am totally feeling the halloween-vibes with these new products!
(especially that stencil - which you'll be seeing more of throughout the week!)

I started by colored all of the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, then using the coordinating dies to die cut them out!
aren't those witches just the cutest things ever!
I really had a hard time choosing a sentiment too, they're ALL the best!!

for the background, I used the Cascading Stars Stencil and Black Soot Distress Ink! I was going to add glitter to the stars, but I really liked them matte and stark against the white!

then I kept the color scheme simple and eye catching with pops of yellows and oranges!
I also die cut out the a circle from the Circle Frames Die Set using vellum, and then crinkled it all up in my hand to add some texture! then I flattened it out, and that's what is behind the witch and sentiment! so fun!

lastly, I heat embossed the sentiment onto some yellow cardstock in black.
