today I have a scrapbook layout up on the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog!
it was created using the current challenge: Inspired by a Movie, Book or Song!
this is on of my favorite challenges EVER!
so sweet, right?
I was inspired by the Jack Johnson song, Dreams Be Dreams! and I included a few pictures of my little Menn, who aren't so little anymore! but I can't help but snap a few photos of them while they're sleeping and remember the times when I used to rock them to sleep as babies!
I created this background with lots of watercoloring! I stared with the Starry Sky stencil and some translucent embossing paste. once that was dry, I used watercolors in blues, mints and greys in a swirl motion! and then, once that was dry, I used the same stencil (but only the largest star area) and white embossing paste to add even more texture!
then I stamped the smaller part of the sentiment with Violet's ABC's in Onyx Black Ink. and then for the 'dreams' words, I die cut them out with Cole's ABC's and then watercolored some soft grey and gold! then I popped them up with foam tape!
