**this is my 2nd post of the day! to see my card that's up on the Newton's Nook Designs, blog, scroll down or click here**
happy Monday!
let's start this week off with a NEW challenge over at the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog!
and I decided to go with Mary Poppins! and bonus! I made my first mini-slimline card! It measures 3.5x6 and it's so cute!
the song has been stuck in my head for days, and it's the PERFECT card to send to someone who is feeling sick!
I created my image by combining the fairy from Fairy Friends, the umbrella from Plus One, the scarf from Say What? Christmas Critters and the flower from Love 'n Breakfast! I popped them all up on foam tape! the spoon is from the Stitched Mug Frame die set! and I used Distress Inks in Vintage Photo and Fossilized Amber to add color!
I added the 'sugar' with the Lawn Fawn Glue and Chunky Glitter!
I die cut the clouds with the Outside In Stitched Cloud Stackables from Fog Cardstock. then I used some white embossing paste and the Starry Sky Stencil to add some texture!
I created the whole scene on some rainbow striped paper from the Really Rainbow Petite Paper Pack for some extra pops of rainbow goodness and cheer!
finally, the custom sentiment was created by heat embossing the letters from Harold's ABC's onto some black cardstock and then popped them up, too!
I also stamped the 'get well soon' on the side of the card, and that is from the adorable Get Well Before 'n Afters!
I really can't WAIT for you to play along! you could win a $25 gift certificate to Lawn Fawn!!!!
enjoy!
It's so wonderful card!
