hi there!
today I have a card up on the Newton's Nook blog, and it's a blast!
ha!
ha! I'm hilarious.
I do love how this came out though!
I used the balloons from Fabulous Frenchies, and the rocket ship and stars from Cosmic Newton! they're a perfect combo!
all of the images were colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then die cut out with their coordinating dies!
I did lots of Distress Ink blending for the background! I used Black Soot, Chipped Sapphire, Mermaid Lagoon and Cracked Pistachio! then I splattered some water and white acrylic ink on top of everything!
the balloons, the rocket ship and the banner are all popped up with foam tape!
be sure to check out the card up on the Newton's Nook Designs blog, too!
enjoy!

waving hello, my friend!
hello!
today I have a card up on the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog!
we're still in the middle of the Standout Sentiments challenge, so of course I made another card with that theme!
adorable, right?!
I mean, it's a rainbow hello...it's a win! let's face it! ha!
I started by stamping the letters from Quinn's ABCs and the boats and bunny from Smooth Sailing. then I colored them all in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and fussy cut them out!
then I popped up the bunny and letters on their respective boats with foam tape.
I also die cut some waves with Stitched Wave Borders from white cardstock and then ink blended my little fingers to the bone! lol!
I used Distress Inks in Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon and Peacock Feathers! then I splattered some water and ink color on top!
I finished the card off by heat embossing the sentiment from Wavy Sayings onto a vellum banner die cut using the Fancy Wavy Banners!
be sure to check out the card on the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog and play along!
enjoy!

Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #500 - Birthday Celebration
hello!
thank you so much for stopping by!
the Newton's Nook team was invited to be Guest Sweeties with the new Cupcake Inspirations Challenge! and i'm loving this exciting celebration!
so fun!
I combined a few different Newton's Nook Designs products for my birthday card!
love it!
I started by coloring all of my images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, and then using the coordinating dies to die cut them out!
I colored the images from Made from Scratch and Sending Hugs!
I used the Circle Frames Die Set to die cut out a circle from white cardstock. then I used the circle as a mask, and did some rainbow ink blending!
after the background was ink blended, I splattered some water and then some liquid glitter to the background!
once that was all dry, I removed the circle mask!
I attached the images to the outside of the circle, then added glitter to all of the littler hearts!
the sentiment was popped up with foam tape!
hope to see you playing along with the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge!
