Newton's Nook Designs November Release - Poinsettia Blooms and Winter Birds + coordinating Dies

hi there!
welcome to the 2nd day of Newton's Nook Designs November release!

I am super in love with this release!
these sets are so FUN and bringing the fall feeling! ha! today we're checking out Poinsettia Blooms and Winter Birds + coordinating Dies!
you can totally create a project life type spread, gift tags and, of course, cards! all of the new sets will be available for purchase on November 23rd, right here! just in time for the fun Black Friday sale!

my first card uses the gooooorgeous Winter Birds stamp set!

I used Distress Inks in Blueprint Sketch and Peacock Feathers to ink blend the background! then I splattered on it with white acrylic paint. the snowflakes and sentiment were heat embossed in white and they really pop!

I love love love the chickadee (and ALL of the birds) image! they're soooo pretty and lifelike!
I colored in the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, and then used the coordinating dies to die cut them out!

I used the Poinsettia Blooms stamp set for my second card of the day!

so pretty, right?! it may be my favorite Christmas card this season! and you guessed it! there's more ink blending! this time I used Seedless Preserves and Milled Lavender Distress Oxide inks! when it was dry, I used some clear embossing gel and the Snowfall Stencil to create the cool looking background!

I finished the card with the sentiment and some glitter on the middle 'berries' and outside berries! ha!
