Newton's Nook Designs January Release - Hoppy Day

today is day 1 of the Newton's Nook Designs January Release! woo!!

today, the whole DT is showcasing the super cute, fun and HOPPY (ha!) Hoppy Day stamp set!!! you'll see just how much fun these stamps are to create with!! they're awesome!
you can totally use this to scrapbook, create a project life type spread, gift tags and, of course, cards! all of the new sets will be available for purchase on January 15th, right here!

for my first card, I had to use that bunny!! look how carefree and happy she is!!

this card is actually an interactive card! you can slide the bunny along the curve...because she's...hopping!!!! yeah...it's pretty cool! ha!

I used Distress markers to watercolor the bunny, and then i blended Distres Inks (in Peacock Feathers and Tumbled Glass) for the sky on the cardstock, and Twisted Citron on the vellum grass!
the sentiment was heat embossed!

my 2nd card uses those irresitable grasshoppers!!

look how cute!!!!
again, lots of watercolor with Distress markers! ha!

i did some blending with Peacock Feathers around the card and added some water splatters, too! Love this sweet little Valentine's Day card!

  20. Love interactive cards. Haven't tried one with a bend like yours' but it's darling.
Always been afraid of grasshoppers - had one on the top of my sock and he kept reaching up and touching my leg - which made me scream. (I think I was about 6 - but I still remember that) they are cute in your card. thanks for sharing.
