Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #160 - Inspired By Your Favorite Holiday Song or Movie

happy Monday!
let's start this week off with a NEW challenge over at the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog!

yay! 

this is my favorite challenge! there are so many holiday movies and songs that are my favorite and I LOOOOOVE!
this time, I chose the movie Elf!

I stamped and colored the images from Penguin Party, Critters in the Arctic and Holiday Helpers with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. then I fussy cut them out with a white border.
Then once they were dry, I added details with a white gel pen.

  

The background was created with Distress Oxide Inks in Black Soot, Iced Spruce and Lost Shadow. then I used some Fairy Dust Paste to add snowflakes with the Snowflake Background Stencils! I also added the sparkly paste to the tops of the mountains die cut with the Stitched Mountains Borders.

 

 


I created the sentiment with Henry’s ABCs dies and heat embossed it in white onto Black Licorice Cardstock.

this new stamp and die set is the most BEAUTIFUL everything you could make with it, is going to be lovely!

all of the images were colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then die cut out with the coordinating dies. then I added a few details with a white gel pen.

 

  

I used Distress Inks in Uncharted Mariner, Blueprint Sketch, Peacock Feathers and Salvaged Patina. then I used some white paint and splattered it on the background to look like snow!

the images were popped up with foam tape for some dimension. and the sentiment was heat embossed in white on top!

this new stamp and die set is the most BEAUTIFUL and sooooo fun to work with!

I love the rainbow ornaments on this Slimline card that was die cut with the Slimline Frames & Portholes Die Set.
I stamped the images with Distress Oxide Inks in an ombre way onto white cardstock. then I die cut them out with their coordinating dies!

 

 

I used the pine needles from the Holiday Foliage Stencil only and used some clear glitter paste to add them to the background the card! LOVE them against that grey/black ombre background that I created with Distress Oxide Inks in Black Soot, Iced Spruce and Lost Shadow.

I attached some thread to the ornaments at the top and strung them up to make it look like they were hanging!

the sentiment was heat embossed in white onto black cardstock. then I die cut it out with the Banner Trio Die Set!

my first card uses the new Cat Christmas Tree Stamp and dies!

so festive and so fun!
these kitties are having a ball getting into mischief!!
I colored them all in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then die cut them out. I also added some of the accessories to the scene too!

 

 

 

I used the Light Strings stencil and some duo transfer gel for the bulbs! once it was dry, but tacky, I added some rainbow shattered foil to the lights! so sparkly!! then I used some white embossing paste for the strings!

I also used Ink colors in Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon and Salvaged Patina for the background of the lights!

 

for my next card, I used the adorable Dog Christmas Tree stamp set and and dies!

 

I really loved how this came out!
I used the Sunscape Stencil with Distress Inks in Picked Raspberry, Abandoned Coral and Dried Marigold to create the tone-on-tone rays!! then I also used the Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron inks for the bottom!! LOOOOOOVE this!

the sentiment was heat embossed in white onto black cardstock. then I die cut it out with the Banner Trio Die Set!

 I finished off the card by adding some white flecks of paint!

my first card uses the new Christmas Trees Hot Foil Plates & Die and the Holiday Elements Stamp Set!

so festive and so fun!
ha! I had a blast hot foiling all of those trees and then die cutting them out! I used a white glossy foil on white cardstock, and then used Lost Shadow Distress Oxide Ink to add a subtle bit of grey behind it!

 

I heat embossed the tree image and sentiment onto white cardstock and then used Distress Inks in greens to add some color. the whole this was then outlined with the Labels Hot Foil Plates & Dies. 

 

everything was popped up over some Christmas Time Paper! and a few sequins were added to contribute to the festivity!

for my next card, I used the Holiday Greetings Hot Foil Plates and Holiday Foliage Hot Foil Plates!

I really loved how this came out!
I used a soft blue foil to add the Holiday Foliage to the background. then I used Distress Inks in Mowed Lawn, Twisted Citron and Pine Needles to add some color!

 

I die cut out some vellum with the Heart Frames Die Set and then placed the sentiment on top! I hot foiled the sentiment in white onto black cardstock and then die cut that out with the A7 Frames & Banners Die Set.

 

 I finished off the card with some twine to add a little texture!
