oh shoot! i'm late!

hello and I hope you're having a wonderful day!
today I have this adorable belated birthday card up on the Lawn Fawn blog! and BONUS I made a video to go with it!

so cute right?!
I used the new I Heart Pandas and I Heart Pandas Add-on stamp sets! I also used the All the Speech Bubbles, Really High Five and Party Animal stamp sets. they were all stamped and then watercolored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. once they were dry, I used a white gel pen to add some details to the images. then I used the coordinating dies to die cut them out.

I used Distress Oxide Inks to ink blend with Pine Needles, Mowed Lawn, Twisted Citron and Squeezed Lemonade on the card front and the hills. the hills were die cut with the Stitched Hillside Borders. I also splattered some white acrylic ink on the background.

I used the same colors and splattered ink to add color to the actual pull tab from the Let's Toast Pull Tab die set.
I also die cut out the arrow for the top of the pull tab from Black Licorice Cardstock.
then I used the same cardstock to heat emboss the sentiments in white and then cut them into banners.

everything was either popped up with foam tape or glued directly to the card. so fun and sweet!

I stamped and colored the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then used the coordinating dies to die cut them out! once it was dry, I used a white gel pen to add a few details!

I die cut out the paper from the new Farmyard Paper Pad with the Basic Frames die set. love that bold cow print!

I heat embossed the sentiment in white and then die cut it out with the Speech Bubbles Die Set. I added color to it with Distress Inks in Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn and just a whisper of Pine Needles. lol!

Lawn Fawnatics Challenge 140 - Let's Celebrate

let's start this week off with a NEW challenge over at the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog!

time to celebrate!!!
what a perfect challenge to kick off the new year!

  

I decided to make a belated happy birthday card!
and the slots were just too adorable to resist!! ha! I used both sloths from I Like Naps and Hang in There! I also used the leaves from A Bug Deal, and turned the into jungle-y, birthday balloons! ha ha! all of the images were colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then either fussy cut out or die cut with the coordinating dies!

 

 

I used Distress Inks in Mowed Lawn, Twisted Citron and just a dash of Pine Needles for the background! then I splattered the ink colors and white acrylic ink on top of the ink blending!

 

I finished off the card by heat embossing the sentiment in white onto black cardstock and then fussy cutting it out! I popped it up with foam tape, too! then I added some green sequins in a few different shades for a little birthday sparkle!
