Newton's Nook Designs June Release - Summer Moments and Newton’s Seashell + coordinating Dies, Retro Sun & Palms Stencil

yahoo! let's dive in to day 2 of Newton's Nook Designs' June release!
and there was never a better, more summer-y, wonderful release!

oh how I love all of these new stamps, stencils and dies!! just wait until you see it all! I'm swooning!
but in the mean time, check out what we're working with today:
Summer Moments and Newton’s Seashell + coordinating Dies, Retro Sun & Palms Stencil

you can totally create a project life type spread, gift tags and, of course, cards! all of the new sets will be available for purchase on June 18th, right here

I am totally feeling the summer- vibes with these new products!
my first card uses the beautiful, relaxing, wonderful Summer Moments stamp set!

Oceans of Happiness Card by Samantha Mann for Newton's Nook Designs, Distress Inks, Ink Blending, handmade cards, Card Making, beach, #newtonsnook #newtonsnookdesigns #distressinks #inkblending #cardmaking #handmadecards

I started by colored all of the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, then using the coordinating dies to die cut them out!

for the background, I did all the ink blending! lol! I used Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon and Peacock Feathers for the water and Vintage Photo and Fossilized Amber for the sand. then I splattered some water all over it. I also splattered some of the brown colors and white acrylic ink on the sand to create the texture.

then I used the Bokeh Stencil Set to add a dreamy, magical vibe!

my second card uses the super sweet, mini Newton's Seashell stamp set!

The Sea is Calling Card by Samantha Mann for Newton's Nook Designs, Ocean, Beach, Distress Inks, Ink Blending, Die Cuts, Handmade Cards, Card Making, #newtonsnook #newtonsnookdesigns #distressinks #inkblending #handmadecards #cardmaking #mirrorstamping

so fun!
I used Distress Inks in Chipped Sapphire, Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon, Peacock Feathers and Salvaged Patina for the waves! and Vintage Photo and Fossilized Amber for the sand! (same splattering use for the sand as the top card)

then I die cut the layers out with Sea Borders and Land Borders die sets.

then I used the mermaid tail from Purr-maid Newton to make it look like one was a mermaid! oh yeah, and that same was mirror stamped, so they faced each other!
I finished off the card with some sequins!
