butterflies!

hello!
welcome to a new week - and to start it off, today I have a card up on the Newton's Nook Designs blog!

I love these butterflies from the Monarchs stamp set! I heat embossed them all in black and then used watercolors to add the bright colors to the wings! once everything was dry, I splattered some white acrylic ink on top and then die cut them out with the coordinating dies!

for the background, I used watercolors in aquas to make the background like a sky! I splattered some of the colors on top and also white acrylic ink!

I heat embossed the sentiment in white onto black cardstock and then trimmed it down. the butterflies and the sentiments were popped up with foam tape.
