sending fall blessings

hello there!

today I'm so happy to share this fun, fall card! I have been making a lot of Christmas cards lately, and I just wanted to squeak one more fall-themed card in the mix!
and this card is up on the Newton's Nook Designs blog!

and this time, I used lots of warm, pinks, corals and oranges! such a pretty color palette!I ink blended the background using Picked Raspberries, Dried Marigold, Abandoned Coral and Carved Pumpkin Distress Inks. then I used the Falling Leaves Stencil and the same colors, but with more pressure to add the subtle leaves! then, I splattered some water, white acrylic ink and ink color on top!

while it was drying, I die cut out some leaves with the Autumn Leaves Die Set and Flower Trio Die Set from various vellum papers, gold foiled paper and also hot pink flocked paper! love all those textures!

the sentiment was heat embossed on black cardstock, and then die cut out using the Banner Trio Die Set! soooo fun and soooo fall-feeling! and the sentiment is from the Fall Roundabout Stamp Set.
