Newton's Nook Designs April Release - Puppy Friends + coordinating Dies

hello! so excited for day 3 of Newton's Nook Designs' April release!

it's got that fresh, cute spring feeling!


oh how I love all of these new stamps, stencils and dies!! just wait until you see it all! but in the mean time, check out what we're working with today: Puppy Friends + coordinating Dies!

I started by coloring all the image with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, then used the coordinating dies to die cut it out!
isn't he just the cutest?!

I used Distress Inks to ink blend the background in Chipped Sapphire, Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon, Peacock Feathers and Cracked Pistachio!
then I used the Pawprints Stencil to add to the background! I used the same colors, but with more pressure!

then I used part of the phrase on the stamp set, and combined it with die cut out letters using the Essential Alphabet Die Set to embellish the sentiment!
I heat embossed the stamped part of the sentiment in white onto some black cardstock and then fussy cut out around it!

    Your coloring of the puppy and flower looks great. The light bouncing off of the puppy, everything looks wonderful. What a cute, happy card.
