hello!
today is day 1 of Newton's Nook Designs' June release!

this release has totally got me giving alllll feelings of farm-living and cuteness!

oh how I love all of these new stamps, stencils and dies!! just wait until you see it all! but in the mean time, check out what we're working with today: Farming Fun Stamp Set + coordinating dies, Slimline Frames & Portholes, Slimline Frames & Windows .
you can totally create a project life type spread, gift tags and, of course, cards! all of the new sets will be available for purchase on June 19th, right here

my card uses the super cool and neat Farming Fun stamp set! and guess what - slimline dies!!!!!

Thought You Could Use a Pick Up Card by Samantha Mann for Newton's Nook Designs, Cards, Slimline, Distress Inks, Ink Blending, Feminine Card, Cards, Farming #slimline #newtonsnook #cards #distressinks #inkblending #farming #pickup #trucks

let me just start by saying, I did a LOT of coloring and die cutting on this card! ha!
I started with the trucks, of course! and then I decided to make a very feminine version of those trucks, so I added as many flowers and leaves as I could! I used images from Lovely Blooms, Woodland Spring and Newton's Flower Garden

I also did lots and lots of ink blending! I used the fun Hills and Grass stencil to create my scene! I started with Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron for the grass. then for the sunset/sunrise-y sky, I used Picked Raspberries, Dried Marigold and Squeezed Lemonade! then I splattered some water in the sky, and ink color on the grass!

I popped up the trucks and flowers with foam tape, and then heat embossed the sentiment onto a banner in vellum!
the banner is from Slimline Frames!
