wow! and just like that, we're on the last day of Newton's Nook Designs February release!
and oh my gosh you guys...this release is so completely amazing! I can't wait for you to fall in love with these pups like me!
today we're focusing on the Woof Pack Stamp Set!
you can totally create a project life type spread, gift tags and, of course, cards! all of the new sets will be available for purchase on February 16th, right here!
here's my first card:
eeeeee!
Ok, so I stamped the whole image in a light grey Ink, twice. I made the first stamped image my card base, and then used the second one to die cut out the heart using the Darling Hearts Die set, and selectively color in the three pups!!
(this card is for my mom to give to her besties, and TWO of these dogs I colored look JUST LIKE her friends' dogs! amazing!)
I popped up the heart and then framed the whole card with the edge of the Frames and Flags large die! I had added color to it by watercoloring with Distress Oxides in rainbow shades! then I heat embossed the sentiment in black on top of the image! so fun!
my second card uses a bunch of the images that are fussy cut out in a big cluster!
aw, I just love those pups!
everything was colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. once the image was fussy cut out, I popped it up with foam tape.
the background was created using the Pawprints stencil and white embossing paste. after I spread the paste and lifted the stencil, I shook embossing glitter on top and let it all dry. once it was dry, I used my heat gun to melt the powder. LOVE the texture and glitter it adds!
