if i fits, i sits!

hello!
today I have a card up on the Newton's Nook blog and it's super sweet (just a warning!) ha!

I Love You More Than Boxes Card by Samantha Mann for Newton's Nook Designs, Newton's Nook, Die Cutting, Card Making, Cards, Cats, Boxes, #newtonsnook #newtonsnookdesigns #cardmkaing #cards #cats #boxes #diecutting

see?
so cute!
I stamped and colored all of the images from Newton Loves Boxes and colored them with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. of course, I also added details to each image with a white gel pen, per usual! lol
once all of the images were dry, I used the coordinating dies to die cut them out.

for the background, I used some white embossing paste on some white cardstock with the Meow Stencil. I knew I had some bright colors going on with the boxes, so I wanted to add some texture and interest to the background, while not being distracting. LOVE it!
I die cut out the frame using the A2 Card Layout 2 Die from kraft paper. then I added it to the car by popping it up with foam tape.

I heat embossed the sentiment in white onto black cardstock. I fussy cut around it and popped it up with foam tape to match the dimension.

hopefully this card brightens your day!
be sure to check out the card up on the Newton's Nook blog, as well.

for the background of the card, I used the Petite Snow Stencil and some glitter paste to add a little bit of subtle texture. I love that little bit of glitter on a christmas card! (but it's hard to capture in photos!)

then, using some more white cardstock, I die cut it out with the Lattice Die Set. then I added some details with the Tree Rings Stencil and Lost Shadow Distress Oxide Ink. I love that it makes it look like some woodgrain marks!
I also popped up the Lattice Die with foam tape!
