hi again!
we're cruising along with day 3 of Newton's Nook Designs Holiday release!
this release has totally got me in the mood for all things holidays and Christmas!! I just need South Carolina weather to catch up - it's so hot! ha!
oh how I love all of these new stamps, stencils and dies!! just wait until you see it all! but in the mean time, check out what we're working with today: Main Street Christmas and Holiday Fringe + coordinating Die.
you can totally create a project life type spread, gift tags and, of course, cards! all of the new sets will be available for purchase on October 18th, right here!
my first card uses the new Holiday Fringe stamp set in a different way!
so fun, right?!
I partially heat embossed the image two times, once on the top, once on the bottom in white. then I used Distress Inks in Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch and Peacock Feathers to ink blend around the partially stamped areas! so fun!!
then I used the 'merry' from the Snow Globe Shaker Die Set for part of the sentiment! I die cut it out 5 or 6 times and stacked them all on top of each other for some height!
my second card uses the AMAZING Main Street Christmas stamp set - which I am in LOVE with!
you know I couldn't resist a rainbow!! ha!
I colored the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then die cut it out!
for the background, I ink blended with Wilted Violet and Blueprint Sketch Distress Inks! then I used some glitz-y, sparkly embossing paste and the Starfield Stencil!
Would you like to win the “Main Street Christmas” or the “Holiday Frings” Stamp Set? We will choose ONE lucky winner for each stamp set!
