today, I'm sharing a card that's up on the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog! it's so cute, and fun! the current challenge is all about making something on your card See Through, and I made this card in that theme!
eeeep! so cute and fun! I really LOVE those dinos! they're all so cute and cuddly...just like the real things were, I'm sure! ha! I used the dino images from Rawrsome, and even one of the little speech bubbles from Rawr!
I started by coloring the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then I fussy cut out the images!
I also did lots of ink blending on this card! for the top cloud (which I die cut out with the Puffy Clouds Border Dies), I used a little bit of Peacock Feathers Distress Ink. for the hills (which I die cut out using the Stitched Hillside Border Dies) I used Distress Oxide inks in Fossilized Amber and Vintage Photo! then I splattered some watered down color and white acrylic paint for texture!
and YES, the inside was ink blended with Distress Inks in Peacock Feathers, Blueprint Sketch and Wilted Violet!
I also glued the little pterodactyl inside the card, and LOVE how you can see him flying high, through the card!
the piece of acetate is sandwiched between two pieces of white cardstock (the distress ink blended hills and clouds on the front of the card, and then on the inside of the card, too).
