Lawnscaping Challenge #115 - Sentiments!

oh yeah! it's a new week!
it's a new month!
and it's the start of a new Lawnscaping Challenge! and this is a really FUN one! ha! (they're all fun, i know!) but this one is right up my alley!

see? i told you!
we want to see you make the sentiment the focal part of your project! and we all know Lawn Fawn has some of the best sentiments around!

for my card, i had an idea of turning the gnome from Gnome Sweet Gnome into a cute little pirate thanks to the adorable images from the new Booyah stamp set!

isn't he the cutest?! i just LOVE how he turned out! :)
i also used the little bird image and colored him to 'look like' a parrot! what's a pirate without his parrot matey! ha ha!

for the background, i used the Woodgrain Backdrops set. i started with a piece of white cardstock and blended some Vintage Photo and Old Paper Distress Inks. then i stamped the woodgrain image on that with Vintage Photo! i cut the paper into little strips and then layered them on the back!
i really really like how it turned out!

i used a tiny bit of Tumbled Glass along the sides and added that large sentiment with some old Thickers!

so that's my projectare you ready to play along?
